hey!! ive only just returned to this thread....j2 i am NOT robert weinland tho i have of course read his book....i did state earlier my observations etc have come from a number of references, inc. the shall we call it a 'witness/feeling' in my spirit?
I also stated the strong possibility of such an event being likely even from a scientific point of view...look what the usa is up to at this very moment...doesnt take much to realise they are asking for trouble. I also of course believe that God will ntervene in human affairs very soon, the way human beings are just cant be left unchecked..there has to come a point in time when our extreme selfish greed and evil ways are finally brought to an end....i didnt agree with some of the points raised by r weinland anyway, tho i did agree with his points regarding christians celebrating christmas and easter being a lie... the only thing u can say about prophets of course, is that the proof of the pudding will be in the eating... if all ive said doesnt materialise, well at least a few milion lives will be spared - for now at least....apart of course from my own when i get hit by that asteroid... |

Richard LL 30 Jan 13:20 as a matter of interest if this prophecy fails to materialise, will you be giving it " Doomsday is just round the corner, the wheels are in motion" etc, or will you say " i was talking out of my bumhole, double or quits on the National? I believe the weights are out, might be worth you checking out the form;) |

My religious friend and many others have picked numerous holes in Weinland's words. My friend believes we are in the last 100-1000 years before God intervenes/Jesus returns. He knows a lot about the bible etc and had read Revelations about 10 times.

My point is that there is a zillion and one things can happen in the next ten years that can be explained scientifically. There's a 120-1 shot that it will occur in May and a slightly smaller chance it will involve the US (remember the US is involved in most of the Worlds affairs at the moment). I'm guessing maybe 1000/1 shot that your correct.
If 1000 of you nutters make a similar prediction on the Worlds forums then one of you will shout BINGO when the time comes. My only worry is that when catastrophies happen, you ALWAYS say its the word of god but NEVER consider a scientific (or hate filled) reason. |

Tony - why all the riddles - why not just tell us whats going to happen??????
|
|

Tony is your theory based on any more than Weinland's words and a feeling that something bad is going to happen? Weinland is, IMO, a fake.

Just read this thread - sorry if the following has been mentioned before.
Sounds like a book called 'The HAB Theory', wherein it's postulated the world will tilt (and has done many times in the past) due to disprportinate amount of ice in the polar regions causing an eccentric movement in the earths rotation, which eventually leads to it spining right off its axis. Google it if you can be ar$ed |

Wasn't Weinland one of the Go-Go's?
|

j2 maybe the may factor is taken partly at least from weinland 's book...BUT i also feel the usa has been playing russian (forgive pun) roulette for some time in world affairs...9/11 was a warning to them of possibilities...they cant go policing the world without a thought for the consequences of their actions.
I also take bible prophecy seriously, tho of course the bible doesnt give exact dates...just a warning that 3 1/2 yrs of tribulation are around the corner. We will see what happens, if the usa thing fails then weinland has stated he isnt a prophet of God which is fair enough....as far as im concerned this world war will happen tho eventually, and of course i believe in God's intervention in human affairs else i may as well not believe any of the bible. |

The book was by Alan W Eckert |

That's spooky! Do you think eventually it might rain quite heavily somewhere in the UK too? |
|
By:
ok orioles when i say eventually, i mean like, and assuming it doesnt start in may..within 5 yrs...cue the sparkmaster comment!!
and anyway, most people appear to believe it just wont happen ie weve learned our lesson etc... |

Is that in the same way that astrologers, clairvoyants and other assorted charlatans never give specific details such as dates? If you seriously believe in all this rubbish then it's high time you were carted away to a padded cell. You're not David Icke by any chance are you? |

Tony Broke. Are you an active gambler ? If you are how does that sit comfortably with your beliefs? Also if you are not, what are you doing on a gambling website chatroom? Are you door knockink trying to convert a few lost souls? The Jehovahs Witnesses keep trying don't they? They say there is only so much room in the Kingdom of Heaven. Should they be allowed in for letting people in need of blood die needlessly?

I'm sorry Broke, but your fears are based solely on Weinland's words. You claim a feeling in your spirit yet NO ONE, not even Jesus himself knows the exact time of the 3.5 year period. Only God himself knows according to the bible. I have read Weinland's book, and to begin with I thought maybe he could be right, then I realised he was wrong on many thinks which are in the bible and that the bible warns of false prophets. Also you say May, Weinland said in an interview if nothing had happened by the end of April he would have been proved wrong. I don't know if there is a God, leaning towards yes though.

But sure Jesus is god so how doesn't he know?

' a day is as a thousand years and a thousand yeas is as a day' (the bible)

I dont believe the bible has any serious issues as such though i suppose u could say it would be difficult to imagine Jesus spending his time on here...on saying that though, i think theres a place for a christian on a site such as this...who else is going to enlighten u all?? (ok the answer's probably velasquez) Hey if i was an aftertimer, i would say i had a tenner on an earthquake in the uk before march... |
