well when i first opened up a betfair account in 2002 i backed horses in the main. after about a month i realised i wasn't winning any money so knocked it on the head. now i pretty much just use betfair to play poker and have the occasional bet on any sport if i really fancy something or get a tip

eric- i play good poker in the main but i lack discipline at times and that's my undoing. i tend to make a deposit of about 20, spin it up to 100, up stakes and then lose it very quickly. i play for the enjoyment rather than a way to make money. probably about 200 down for the year
