I think you have to bear in mind e/w never explained WHY he found it funny - I suspect it was probably because it was from someone who he'd never encountered before, and was therefore not an enemy.

I tend to agree. Some of it is inventive and fairly well written but it's not exactly hilarious. You can also tell the difference between the orignial stuff and the really carp stuff that tonymontana has added himself.
