The whole album 'Syreeta' is exceptional.
She was married at the time to Stevie Wonder, I believe, and he wrote and produced most of the songs. It's a great shame she's only really known here for 'Your Kiss Is Sweet' and an even greater shame that she died at a young age. |

However, if you are looking for some really different stuff to download then there's the unlikely New Model Army & Tom Jones cover of the Stones' Give Me Shelter. Also there's some realy unlikely cover versions - Homer Simpson does Danzig's 'Mother' and 'The Joker' by Steve Miller. You should be able to get hold of Coldplay and Noel Gallagher doing Oasis' Live Forever' (live at some festival or possibly Live 8). |

Thanks BF and thanks for the update Robin. EC always struck me an intelligent guy (and musician) from way back. It is always tragic when people have brain problems/injuries and when you see them afterwards and the changes in them - terrible.

That's right Karen - knew it was EBtG but actually preferred the cover. Taling of EBtG - Each and Every One.
BTW, can you remember a girl duo from about 15 years ago - think they were called Banderos (had Sinead O'Connors). They did a great track called something like This is You Life. Got the tape which was also pretty good. |

Re 'Looking For Love' - I actually like both, but there's a bit at the end of EBTG version where she goes "I just didn't know' without any music that gets me every time. But then I think Tracey Thorns voice (if not her looks !!) is a thing of great beauty, comparable to Karen Carpenter. |
