OK, firstly, don't know how you got this thread back, but whoever did it, thanks a lot. One of the greatest threads in the history of this benighted forum, and has been well worth the time I've just spent re-reading the first ten or so pages.

I am the thin white duke btw, just with a(nother) new name.

Now, on to kq. I can report, happily, that tony is still alive and well, and is enjoying the summer at a sunny spot on the essex coastline. Lovely guy, if slightly combustible, was speaking to him a few weeks ago.

They came back to blighty, lived in a small village in Notts or Northants for a while as her mother was seriously ill. I assume she either recovered or died for them to move to Clacton.

No idea if it's been mentioned but the first Chavez-Taylor fight in 1990 was awesome.

Taylor way ahead on pts BUT gradually getting more and more busted up until he walked onto one with seconds to go and the ref (rightly) stopped him taking any more punishment.
