That bumper win is what really has cemented his rep, but I was reading on the chelts forum that, that bumper was run in the 2nd slowest time of the last 9 years, which puts it into a bit of perspective imo.

He's had 3 runs in small fields in Ireland and not been off the bridle but his last race produced sketchy jumping.

All horses running at chelts are good and trying, so just a little doubt has crept in my mind so gave up on laying/backing him altogether !

Have a look round for bookies who are doing money back if your horse falls too. You never know in this game. Sporting bet are doing it and paddy powers may be.

I'm doing Blackstairmountain. Fair flat horse ,jumped well on its only hurdle race and WP Mullins is a cracking trainer. Is about 10-1 at paddy's but was 14-1 on here so was dithering what to do.

13-1 now. Gotta be a bet with paddy's now ;)

dunguib the best horse in the race , but anyone taking evens or less on any horse, should have a look at things like trainer form - fenton 9 winners this season with none in last fortnight: jockey - o connell 7 wins over hurdles this season and never subjected to pressure loike he is gonna experience tomorrow. this race is one to swerve.

1715: Ladbrokes have gone up with an even-money quote about Dunguib for tomorrow's Supreme Novices' Hurdle - the opening race of the Cheltenham Festival.

Dunguib has been odds-on for some time, but Ladbrokes are looking to drum up business with their evens quote.

Spokesman David Williams said: "Dunguib has been odds-on for some time now so the even money about Ireland's wonder horse is bound to be popular. If he wins, the plunge on the Irish horses later in the day will become collossal."

Ladbrokes also offer 7/1 that Dunguib wins tomorrow before going on to claim next season's Champion Hurdle.

My guess is he hedged his bets & put half his original stake on it, the more hype the more chance a horse will get knocked over imo.

2smiggy don't do it m8,never ran over hurdles @ Cheltenham where they go a mad pace, helter skelter from the flag fall.

The horse is good no doubt about it but has never been over hurdles in a big field at a fast pace,to many negatives to be having a "huge bet".

If your going for it everything has to be in your favour and imo everything is not in the horse's favour,gl in whatever you decide.

^ I tried to help.
