Dewey the last thing you would do if successful is advertise your bets.
Going back a right few years I used to get info from a couple of stables. It was all dynamite cos you knew it was going to get backed off the boards. Tepylon, Kamal Sediqui and All the Queens (or Kings maybe) Men were 3 of the biggest gambles. All opened approx. 33s on course and between 5s and 12s in the shops with returned SPs 11/8, 13/8 and 7/2. |

Cheers brasneck, but at my age I don't really want any complications. As long as I have bookies accounts I'm ok.
|
|
By:
Not infallible though Kamal got pipped on the line by a right loud one. The other 2 won.

Willie McFarland (ex jockey) used to make a big dent in the markets akabula, which is all you need to profit really. Went off the boil though and his selections stopped getting supported, but he was dynamite for a good while.

allyou have to do is take a few 50 and 100 pound bets in tight games and then place them with your bookie,if he is answering the phone to you and you are chucking 50 and 100 pound bets everyday he is not going to pull you up on a bet in the middle of the day(the real one)and you don't care if the others win or lose, its just betfair v the high street bookie.

true ... but you have to operate within your bank.
If you had a bank of 20 grand and you staked 20 grand there's a risk of losing it all. My biggest bet was on the 1997 gen election £3500 at odds on ... I don't remember the price. I put it on using cash at Sandown as you could avoid betting tax by betting on course with a Lads rep ........ there was some trouble collecting it from a shop and I arranged to collect it at Brighton racecourse ... the Laddies rep either wouldn't or couldn't pay me although it was all arranged on the phone. When I rang to complain they apologised and I think I was sent a cheque. I was cheeky and asked for a freebie to compensate me for my trip to Brighton ... the result was an invitation to Sandown on a day when Persian Punch won. The place was buzzing with info esp about Persian Punch sp 3-1. Richard Fox was one of the speakers- he gave us 2 winners - .. Thommo was another - embarrassingly he asked everyone to kiss the lady on their left [ my wife was on my right - lucky escape ]I was sat between Lenny Lawrence (manager of Luton Town at the time) and some guy who had sold a chain of betting shops, in the East End I think he told me they were called Prince. I'd never heard of them .. and the conversation died a little ... as the only bet I've ever had in the East End was on betfair on a visit to Pumphol's shoeshop. Pumphol let me use his account and returned the tenner plus the winnings (7-2) .. but that was much later than May 1997 when my trip to Sandown took place. I later found out he was Michael Tabor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Tabor ![]() |

And in league cup matches you can lay teams at 2/5 on here that are much bigger in the bookie coupon when the teams are announced.the fa cup is the same.and the champions league is the best along with the Europa league, when the team has qualified you get serious differences in prices.and you can make a small fortune in trading.

.. and when the news gets out there's a flu epidemic in Arbroath and they are resorting to playing the manager's 16 year old nephew and his aunty.

maybe once you have your money on you could drop a few hints / info on here.
Though football is something I rarely get involved in. I used to arb on Pricewise but it became too difficult getting on .. I once made over £200 on a horse which lost as the price changed so much I was able to 'overlay' it for that much. I would have made the same if it had won. |

I sat in a room a few months back and the guy beside me got a phone call asking would he take a 100 grand for Liverpool at 1/1.the guy beside me said he would ring him back in 5 minutes.he then made a phone call to another bookie and got 6/5 about Liverpool winning.liverpool won.

Where does thegiggilo post his tips?
He is a tipster I hear a lot of people praise, but I haven't seen him post any on the Betfair forum. |
|
By:
He doesn't. You have to smile sweetly to him.
|

Mind you, if you have any betting accounts they'd soon be knackered.

very good kenbo. :-)
I know what you mean james, p/l could show a biggish loss, biggish profit or something in-between. Depends on results of course. As it happens last 3 months have shown a large profit on here, but a loss with bookies which obviously is not reflected on here. dewey wouldn't have realised that. lol |
|
By:
Saying nothing! Hopefully your next 3 months betfair P+L will be showing a big loss then

You don't need them with my predicted sps as I told you today with the last winner at lingfield it would be 2/1 tops you could've kept backing it allday on betfair and as for the winner at ffos las 5.4 it drifted to,these layers are nuts long time since I've seen value like that.Never got the chance to lay a penny off in running as it had the race won 6fs out, absolute cracking day,you don't need accounts with some of the picks I have if I'm getting the sp right you can still back them on here...
