i guess some people are just stuck in the old days :)
By:
surely in the old days, one rubbish tv talent show couldnt basically decide which artist and song would be xmas number 1, even before december!
By:
i don't particularly like ratm, as i've already said, but anything, and i mean anything, would be better than x-factor being no1. des o'connor, the wurzels, whigfield, anything!!
By:
if the public didnt want xfactor winners at number one.. they wouldnt be number one.. clearly that is what the public want
By:
but why would it be better?
By:
got my joe download in yesterday anyway, couldnt do much more than that, i hope all x factor fans done the same
By:
well the rest of the public are fighting back with a protest vote for RATM :D because just perhaps, the xfactorised chart doesnt really represent the majority of the public opinion after all.
By:
Pop music has never been as bad as it is today. I watched last weeks top 40 the othr day and there isn't one good song in it.
By:
I am sure this song is about the (sub-)conscious racial motives
of some people in authority and the police? Nothing about consumerism |
By:
Great whammy guitar too
By:
thats not how charts work.. a song should be top because people want to buy it.. not because people dont want something else to be top
By:
looks in the bag anyway. had a fat green on joe but delighted if he gets beat.
By:
anybody downloading that x-factor muck that isn't a teenage girl or perhaps related to singer needs to take a good look at themselves.
By:
why?
why do people have to have tastes in music that is acceptable to the sheep of society? |
By:
the sheep of society who watch sh1t like x-factor and accept whatever sh1te thy choose to release for christmas, you mean?

they are all morons, the ratm buyers, the other buyers, the ones who phone in, the ones who argue about it - just a big long list of morons. I am in fact a moron for wasting my time writing this. summed up beautifully, JBHA (me too :( :D ) |
By:
i guess the majority of the public are sick fed up of the xfactor, its been rammed down everyones throat for the last month by the media, like the big brother mania for a while.

Feckin' spot on, Easter 1916.

By:
you seem to be getting confused,,
people watch the x factor because they enjoy it.. if they didnt they wouldnt watch... that isnt being a sheep |
By:
and more people don't watch it than do and obviously plenty of people are sick of it to the extent that they will go to these lengths to prevent it being no1.
By:
i wouldnt argue that the x factor is popular, but i'd imagine the majority of people dont like it much and are fed up hearing about it. The xfactor winner could have released ANY single and the crowd would have bought it. It shouldnt be this way.
By:
average of 13m viewers.. almost doubled since series 1.. clearly the public do like it.
By:
how many people in britain? i'd say the majority of those that aren't in the 13m absolutely fecking hate it.
By:
so instead a crap crude song by a bunch of classless american**s can have #1 instead because people dont want x factor winner Joe mcelderry to be #1.
By:
Andy Murray 20 Dec 09:33
even a british band, this was probably started by some american kid thinking it'd be funny, and the british public were stupid enough to go along with it, its official, the british public are morons :D an average of 13m a week are anyway, at least. |

Gayers and housewives vs Sheep imo
Gayers, housewives, simpletons etc love xfactor and therefore tend to buy the winning song. It's no big deal it's simply fact. The xmas no 1 has always been dominated by kitch/charity/novetly songs and this is no different (give or take an impossibly "free" advertising budget) Those "guardians" of the nations musical taste who buy RATM's single are nothing more than sheep and in their own way are far more guilble than the x fcator buyers. At least the x factor buyers are buying the song because they like it/enjoy the show etc as opposed to buying it becasue they were told to. |
By:
kinda well said bonviv, the last paragraph anyway
By:
Though in fairness the x factor winner could have recorded himself taking a dump and people would of still bought it i guess.
By:
so classless they've handed shelter a busload of cash.
By:
publicity stunt ;)
swearing on live radio, real classy eh |
By:
like that was such a big deal, and the bbc loved it anyway or they'd have been cut off after the first expletive and not the fourth.
By:
i thought it showed them up for what they are.. but then theres those few that will have liked it and it would have got them a few more sales ;)
classless.. trying every trick in the book to get support lol |
By:
RIP Music.

TV analyst Tom Logan said: "We estimate that if ITV showed nothing but some ice cubes melting slowly in a glass of Simon Cowell's urine, the audience could theoretically exceed the population of the UK."
Says it all really |
By:
i dont the RATM care too much for editing their song just because the bbc are scared to let the listeners hear a sweary word or two. Why should they?
By:
Not long now. :)
By:
Thank fck.
By:
Andy Murray is either on the wind-up or completely clueless
