Actually shaky i wans't even aware of any of this gayery but it was on some program this morning (ironically about b@mming and the rugby guy) that the news had some guy from the record sales collation stats though the download bits couldn't be given 100% to the min accuracy evidently.

it looks like only 1 person is backing it, so youd expect they "know"

Some shrewdie looks like he knows. Waits for the market to drift and smashes it back in.

I'm sure that when they did this last year with Jeff Buckley, they merged the sales.

Andy Murray
When: 20 Dec 09 13:20
that site doesnt count shop bought cd's though, so hopefully that'll bump joe up

When: 20 Dec 09 13:20
fvck you we wont do as you tell me

And they are doing exactly what they are told. Buying one or other of these songs, that's the funny bit.

When: 20 Dec 09 13:31
Yes the above chart doesn't count physical shop sales
Downloads only

(Not sure why there's two versions in there?)
By:
SuperSuperShire
When: 20 Dec 09 13:31
interesting that Live hits updating at 2.20, no longer shows RATMs 2nd entry, the live song that was at number 7

Has it just dropped out of the top 10 in the last 10 mins, or have they indeed merged the two?
By:
Andy Murray
When: 20 Dec 09 13:32
if u click top 300 its at #29
By:
BonViv
When: 20 Dec 09 13:34
I know it's bene mentioned throughtout but the irony is just SUPERB

You've got all these young gayer/student types thinking they are being "of so rebellious" by buying a song which THEY are telling you to buy as opposed to the Xfactor song which THEY are NOT telling you to buy!
By:
SuperSuperShire
When: 20 Dec 09 13:35
Cheers for that

so it dropped from 7th to 29th in the space of 10 mins. Very odd!
By:
Shaky
When: 20 Dec 09 13:39
of course, we should let simon cowell decide who is number one at xmas as per usual?

dont slate people for helping good music get to the top instead of the normal manufactured junk.

By:
SuperSuperShire
When: 20 Dec 09 13:41
update at 2.40, and the live version goes back up to 7th
By:
Andy Murray
When: 20 Dec 09 13:43
maybe people like "manufactured pop junk"
and not the crappy "real music" of ratm
By:
Shaky
When: 20 Dec 09 13:44
those people are wrong ;)
