I think you will find just as many people who love this number 1 (if it gets there) as those who hate it.

Apparently Simon Cowell was well p!ssed off that someone even dare to try to be a no 1 at xmas other than his winning song, for that reason alone he needs a kick in the teeth, believing he has a divine right to the xmas no 1 WHY !
Hopefully this will take the smug look of his face for the festive season, the fact the other record is highly inappropriate for a seasonal record makes it all the more amusing as well, lets be honest most of the x factor no 1 's have hardly been "seasonal " have they !

it never occurred to you that the british public were morons when 20 million of them were phoning in to vote on the x-factor sh1te, andy?

Cowell is so one dimensional,
" I will put on a 15 week tv show & at the end I will have the xmas no 1 "

Maybe he will bring x factor forward a couple of weeks next year to avoid what he will think is humiliation.
Cannot wait for Cowells response it will be along the lines of " I feel sorry for JOE " or " silly people have it in for x factor "

I''m serious andy???

early nineties. just listened to it on youtube and they've changed the lyrics - surely it is that "fek you i won't do what you tell me" song isn't it?

The whole x factor thing is so sanitzed and so nailed on for the Xmas no1 that this is a breath of fresh air.

No objection to Joe here. And he might get number 1 next week.

they are all morons, the ratm buyers, the other buyers, the ones who phone in, the ones who argue about it - just a big long list of morons. I am in fact a moron for wasting my time writing this.
By:

When: 20 Dec 09 08:58
no easter.. because people voted because they liked the show..

people arent buying RATM because they like them.. they are buying it because they dont like the x factor, or (even worse) because they think its funny..

morons the lot of em :)

well me and plenty of others think that anybody who watches x-factor is a moron. while i never liked the ratm song i hope it wins. i wouldn't buy it myself cos i'm not a mug, and i am a tight ba$tard, but i hope they win and the x-factor sh1te, which i haven't heard, only makes no3!

Well said pumphol.

SCowell, who apparently used to love betting on the Christmas Number One, fooked that right up for the rest of us. Nobody was bothering to release anything for Christmas. The XF singles have in the main just been self-indulgent slushy tosh, hardly classics that people will want to listen to year after year. Last year, a genuine "classic" was butchered and the line "you don't really care for music, do you" sums up SCowell good and proper.

it would be funny btw, so if that's their reason for buying it, good luck to them.

Ironically Joe may well sell more singles from this song than any previous x factor winner & not make xmas no 1
Top of the charts next week is no good for Cowell, expect toys thrown out of the pram comments if it happens.
