To be honest veck I was working for Seagate...ten of us got the chop...as I said, we were marched into the boss's office and given the news and then marched out the building. We could go back after the day was done to collect our stuff (supervised of course). They promised to look for 'other positions' within the company but I knew that was a non starter. The thing that made it not so unpleasant was that I walked away with just shy of 60k in vested stock options...which was nice.
