whats the most you won on one Study , and how much has Pumphol won?
I won £1500 on brainteaser, Tobe. I bottled it for the £3000 tbh.
you start with 45secs, and a 3 letter word (anagram) iirc, then they add a letter and scramble for a 5 letter word, and so on - stopping the clock between each one. The money goes up with each one to a max of £3000. I had one left, and 22secs, and I settled for the £1500 instead :(

The 1st one I was on was Busman's holiday, in 1984.
Julian Pettifer took a bit of a shine to me (I was 23 and smart in me croupier's dinner suit), it took all day to record, and over lunch and between things, he kept sitting next to me and making conversation.

I appeared on and won an episode of 'The Weakest Link' 7 years ago - won about £1100.
I recorded it onto 2 seperate tapes -which seem to have got lost when I moved house last year. :(
In the last round I managed to shout out 'pass' instead of 'bank', which cost me £100!

I haven't been on a game show, but I think I once read about someone who had.
Got a call to go on Millionaire, but had to answer all sorts of security questions, and then final qualifying question, which was * In yards, what is the distance of the Grand National* only got 30 secs to answer and was miles out with my guess!!! :(

chasing rainbows was on countdown last monday (forumite,bookie) he came 2nd:-)
Going back a few years, but of the forumites who used to post on here told us he was on 'Family Fortunes' and a lot of us watched it when it came on TV that day.
My favourite moment of the broadcast was when an elderly female member of his team (?) announced to a breathless nation 'We're a proper East End gambling family' or words to that effect.

As Hoofer says I did indeed comes second on countdown but it was on tues 17th not monday. Great day though met the lovely Rachel and the fantastic Jeff, sadly my performance was only average but the lad that beat me franked the form by winning another 3 games.
