I won £1500 on brainteaser, Tobe. I bottled it for the £3000 tbh.
you start with 45secs, and a 3 letter word (anagram) iirc, then they add a letter and scramble for a 5 letter word, and so on - stopping the clock between each one. The money goes up with each one to a max of £3000. I had one left, and 22secs, and I settled for the £1500 instead :( I'll never know. Don't know what pumphol's best was. He did OK on that 'panic' one in N Iron a couple of weeks ago tho. |

The 1st one I was on was Busman's holiday, in 1984.
Julian Pettifer took a bit of a shine to me (I was 23 and smart in me croupier's dinner suit), it took all day to record, and over lunch and between things, he kept sitting next to me and making conversation. |

I appeared on and won an episode of 'The Weakest Link' 7 years ago - won about £1100.
I recorded it onto 2 seperate tapes -which seem to have got lost when I moved house last year. :( In the last round I managed to shout out 'pass' instead of 'bank', which cost me £100! |

I went on Mastermind .
I was the one that asked Magnuss Magnusson could I turn the chair round away from him . He said Okay First question was Whats your Name ? I looked over my left shoulder (my best profile ) and answered him 2nd Question was Age ? I answered over my shoulder again 3rd Question was Where do you come from ? Again I answered him 4th Question was Occupation ? I answered him Taxi Driver . |

Got a call to go on Millionaire, but had to answer all sorts of security questions, and then final qualifying question, which was * In yards, what is the distance of the Grand National* only got 30 secs to answer and was miles out with my guess!!! :(
