I'm on my 10th tin, I enjoy the weekends but rarely drink during the week (probs why I'm so quiet on here). I understand your first drink mentality Do Wah, I start off slowly then get greedy the more I have. Personally I don't want to stop but fair play to you.

well i drink a lot, used to have over 200 units in a week. Did 3 days without drink this week
And I buy 4 litres of cider to drink on a work night, knowing that if I have any more, I'd sleep in and be late for work but yea I can drink in the pub for 1 or 2 pints and go home I have been drinking excessively for 3 years and now starting to worry about myself whether I am an alcoholic or not but yea fair enough, I'll find out myself |

I think there's more to alcoholism that meets the eye...it's not just that you like the taste...it's that it's a crutch that props you up when somethiing else in life is bringing you down...

well I like to walk home from work(25min walk) with a bottle of buckie
and the area i live in is seperated from work by the woods, so I have to walk down a concrete path through the woods for about 10mins, and all the lamp-posts are broken so it's pitch black and I like to use the buckie bottle for protection in case anyone tries to mug me on that path |

no, I openly admit what I drink to everybody, which makes people feel easier to think what they say to me
for example when I go to work, they can see my red face and tell me that I have been drinking but I get praise when I go to work not having a red face |
