Well I would have added Micky Flanagan but he's only been around 5 minutes and in that time he's already pretty much mainstream. But OK:

Micky Flanagan.

Ricky Grover - Been on TV in the 11 O'Clock show as 'Buller' (hard-man prisoner) and Johnny Vaghn's sidekick in that series what he was in like.

Saw him doing stand-up at Jongleurs a while back and laughed like a drain for his entire act.

Nick Wilty - standing dish on the stand up comedy circuit. Always funny and...oh I'm sorry, back to the Tommy Cooper / Peter Cook rimming session.....

I saw a very shouty man at the Comedy Store last time, he was fkng ace. Dunno his name tho.

Steven K was hilarious at first, now has become a joke. Ironic, no?

First thing he said when he came on the stage... 'Any darkies* in the audience? If there are you should fook off now.

It was OK to laugh at that back then.

* he used a different word that I'm not even going to try to post.

Even if I did, I've grown and matured since then.

Unlike some on here, no names mentioned Wink

Saw him a few times, two bouncers at the side of the stage one time, big black bloke, smaller white one. Bernard bantered for a few seconds with the big one about his size, and then nodded towards the white one and said, "is that yer supper?".

he done jokes about everyone though!

surely he was being diverse? he was obviously white, but was he just bringing other's
into the joke to make them feel involved.

I've always thought Bilko was timeless but haven't watched any for 5-6 years.  It would be gut-wrenching to discover now he was hooked in time.  Surely not me.

Rick and Morty interesting newcomers.

Many people used to love Arthur Askey (Hello Playmates) but Big Bernard only had  4 words to say about him... thank fook he's dead

I'm still laughing thinking about it now from over 30 years ago Blush

basically what we have here is the clear proof that Enoch was right.

you invite them here, give them a home, invite them to take part in your
social gatherings - then you find out they can't take a ****ing joke Cry

Not sure I like the bloke much, but Frankie Boyle is a funny geezer.

Frankie good at stand up but his sketch show was really bad.

I'm fairly certain I recall Max Miller in the very early sixties on Workers' Playtime or some such mid-day radio programme where he ended his slot with "When roses are red and ready for plucking, girls of sixteen are ready for ... goodbye all".  I am certain I never heard him again on radio.

He died in 1963, which is probably why we never heard much more of him on the radio after the early 60s

Michael McIntyre seems to be the best of a bad bunch these days.

Jimmy Carr also worthy of a mention.

My elder brother Peter is friends with Royston, but they are both a bit past it now.

Manning and Chubby Brown could both tell a joke but the hateful stuff in their acts shouldnt be celebrated - they wouldnt do the same acts now as they did in their heyday

Tom Stade (one of Frankie Boyles co-stars in Tramadol nights) always delivers excellent stuff

Bill Burr probably the best comedian working at the moment for me
