When I was a kid there was a choice of Cilla Black (scouse minger) Dusty Springfield (rug muncher) Lulu (glaswegian slapper) Kathy Kirby (I wasn't a blonder lover when I was a kid) Cleo Laine (facking diabolical - I still hate jazz) Sandy Shaw (from Dagenham ffs) Helen Shapiro (voice like a foghorn) Shirley Bassey (didn't like her singing when I was a kid) Facking wonder I never turned into a poof. :) The first female singer I had the hots for was Dame Nellie Melba. I must have been about 13/14 by then. Good to see Big Charlie back ![]() |

anyone remember Stacia who used to be part of the Hawkwind set up? A big German sort, she'd more often than not get her kit off on stage.

HH Sultan Vinegar - "The first female singer I had the hots for was Dame Nellie Melba.
I must have been about 13/14 by then". Understandable - they were big those Gramophone horns. |

Someone mentioned Wendy James. I worked with someone who went to Brighton Uni with her and by all accounts she boshed the entire campus and fair play to her for that I say.
