"Only race they could possibly have run in," I see this forums biggest bollix merchant is back After the event or what ? The horse is a stayer, always has been , always will be, willie knows it , Patrick knows it , Davy, Ruby...it will get home right handed if he is allowed to set the pace ...if something else goes off in front it's a different matter ....willie loves this horse...beaten twice at Cheltenham already and a double handful on a right handed track...watching brief |

Personally couldn't have him for longer trips now, I think his jumping out to the right is exaggerated as he begins to tire, it was like that the other day at the last fence, his best chance IMO is the Arkle where he can just be gunned and hopefully last it out on the one breath so to speak while he's still racing within himself. I think it's shaping up to be GW + IET Arkle, FV Turners and FTF, Brown Advisory now. WTF is wrong with you man I got the running plans right, but so what!! Ive told you before irish, if you want to give it the bigun you can put me in my place by sticking up your lifetime p@l to show me how clever you are????? |

After the event or what ? before the event you silly man |

A.P. came out with the most succinct, relevant and adroit overview of this year's Festival with his very last worfs this morning when he said, "What you wouldn't give to be Paul Townend this week"!

By:
The best horse won; his jockey rode him well. He did not panic when Found A Fifty went past going to the last.

Done my cash.
I was hopelessly wrong. |

Well done warrior backers
That took my bet apart over last two Fences |
|
By:
Well done winners. Time will tell if it was a weak Arkle, but he won it impressively.

The point was irish, you came on completely unprovoked and had a dig, the problem was you didn't read the thread properly and thought I was after-timing on a decision that connections had made, however I was doing nothing of the kind as I had previously said what I thought over a month ago , where I thought the horses would go, you even agreed with me without realizing it on how he would be ridden to give him his best chance, anyway, I just don't get the insults, don't do it, or at least read the thread first!

you formed an opinion based upon absolutely no provable research or knowledge or information
you were guessing as you were when you came out with the bollix about Lossiemouth last year |
|
By:
![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah...guessed 100% right though didn't I, and you didn't read the thread properly, although you can squirm all you like. Anyway, what price you got for Sharjah in the Queen Mum tomorrow, hope it wins for you. ![]() |

Well you've learned a valuable lesson then haven't you, don't believe everything you're told
![]() Incidentally, I have given up trying to get Lossiemouth beat, you was right, I was wrong. irishone 12 Mar 24 18:35 you formed an opinion based upon absolutely no provable research or knowledge or information Can't win, get something right and it's total guesswork, we're all forming opinions on what we interpret from watching the horses run, none of it is provable, all we can do is watch the races and see how it pans out. I differed from you and got the running plans of all the novices right, it's bothered you but it shouldn't,it happens!!! there's no need for the bitterness and insults, you've been like this before with others on here, try not to be!! |

I got him all wrong. I backed him for The Stayers (several good price trebles) at the beginning of the season. Then The JLT (nrnb) luckily, and 'lay' off at 8/1 for The Arkle (backed at 10) thinking he ain't running.

Duffy got him wrong as well
The horse played up in the ring as usual The head gear worn for the first time did the trick.... nothing else "You could see what difference a hood made to him. He wasn’t trying to jump right and Paul could ride a race on him. I thought coming down the hill ‘what was I doing running him over three miles last season when he has that speed’. I think he has enough class now to do two miles and he’ll probably stick to that game now, although you could push him out to the Ryanair distance as well. He’s very adaptable. When you saw how good he was at Limerick at Christmas you wouldn’t believe he could run like he did at Leopardstown at the Dublin Racing Festival, I don’t know what happened. I thought he was going to boil over again in the parade ring, but once he got out and away from the crowd he became a lot more settled. It made him so much easier to ride in the hood. I think he’s found his calling now, he looks a Champion Chaser, he could be a Ryanair horse and he won over three miles over hurdles. It’s satisfying to get a win here with him after watching what he does at home all the time, to do it in the Arkle is fantastic. It’s a huge relief to get one on the board, when we got beaten in the first I felt ‘oh no’ when it looked like we had it won." W P Mullins |

Let's not get away from the crux of the issue, you thought I'd after-timed, you didn't check properly, when you looked back after I'd pointed it out, you weren't big enough to apologize, you'd rather wriggle, if you want to still try and console yourself that I didn't get anything right because I didn't know about the hood so it doesn't count, go ahead. But here's the thing,Mullins didn't know ether, but he still ran him over the shorter trip, why? because they were afraid of the blow out over the longer trip, because we've seen it last time, no guesswork involved. If they were confident about the hood and thought he was a stayer he'd have worn it over the longer trip. |

So you want kudos from a Betfair forum ? OK ....Isnt Mr Duffy fantastic ...Comes on here to let Mr Mullins, Patrick, Ruby and Davy know exactly what distance one of their best horses should run over Of course Mr Duffys opinion counts, he has won so many Cheltenham festival races as a jockey, trainer and owner, what a fantastic achievement it was to guess the race those poor horseman with bags of experience should enter one of their best horses in Of course Willie was clueless, Ruby wouldn't indicate one way or another at one stage, but Mr Duffy from the Betfair Forum knew all along The horse jumped to the Right because he was tired said Mr Duffy, ... so they tried a hood this time, my goodness as the horse trotted up the famous hill , he obviously wasnt tired and jumped as straight as an arrow because he was full of energy and didnt need the hood.... now wrong is mr mullins putting that silly hood on How great is Mr Duffy ....Its comforting to know these types walk amongst us .. well done mister duffy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

No I didn't want kudos, I made no mention of anything, only to come on and defend myself from your insult, your above post just about covers what you appear to be, somewhat unhinged and most would agree with me on here, you got it wrong, you thought he was a stayer, Willie knows it, Patrick knows it, blah blah.
Carry on if you must, you've been mugged off on this thread, because you didn't read it first...stop digging. |

By:
"I made no mention of anything"..... you made ten posts at least you silly boy

I was wrong too. The horse recovered well from its previous tun and glided round.
Well done Willie and well done backers. |

As things transpired would have won the Champion Chase next day. The sky is the limit if/when he settles. King George Ryanair or whatever.
