Just to confirm my understanding is correct...the point of the plunge is seeing if you can all get on at a good price and move the market? But you want to give the information to some people first, make sure you all get the 'good' price and then share with everyone else?!
Out of interest, what sort of price change has there been in recent years? I.E. from the price you put the 'plunge horse up at to SP how many points shorter is they SP on average say over the last 5 years? |

The price on most of the plunges over the years has dropped considerably. In at least a couple of cases it's gone off half the price or less. Don't think we've had a winner yet though. And of course, it's nigh-on-impossible to determine how much of the price move is down to the plunge. I suspect very little, especially these days when the traffic on the forum is minimal. At Cheltenham, there's so much money that it takes a fair old whack to move a price.
