Vautour and now Faugheen. The bookies have already taken evasive action but there must be so many trebles from the Irish punters and as this one is supposedly the banker for many is it likely to be odds on?

The pipe winners this week will prop the price up imo, less than Evens would be crazy

Briar Hill would be a big return for me, tempted to stick a ton on the Pipe horse, it has the best form of any staying novice - everything franked.

Given the performances of Vautour and Faugheen this isn't a plausible lay. Willie knows exactly how good BH is. If this is his best novice hurdler, he won't be too worried about King's Palace.

Being honest I backed King's Palace ante post but I can't ignore the form of the Mullins novices. Having said that I did take a view from what I've seen that Briar Hill wasn't as good as Faugheen but that may still be good enough and who knows he could be better? Shocked

Looks a pretty deep race to me, of course BH could be a monster but they would n't hear of defeat for Annie Power either.

King's Palace ticks all the boxes in terms of profile for this race and has best form in the book imo, BH never been beyond 2.5m.

Urban Hymn, Deputy Dan, Captain Cutter and even Champagne West are all unexposed and full of potential.

Mosspark is interesting also, Lavelle had a couple run well earlier in the week including Timesremembered in the Coral Cup who could have run in this.

I'm not a layer but will probably back King's Palace and have a little each way on Mosspark.

Despite the money for it in the lead up I don't get the impression that this is getting lumped the same was as his first 2 novice winners. I really fancy Kings Palace too think it has the best form and stable is in rattling good form

Suspect price contraction over the past couple of days due to multiple bet liabilities. If Annie Power had won yesterday, he would probably be even money! If the horse is of similar ability to Vautour and Faugheen, then 2/1 is probably about right.

Highly unlikely.

Compound fracture. 4-5 months out in probability.

Those falls looked bad Sad

I think it was Kings Palace that fell at the last and was still down when they finished.

Simon Holt wasn't sure who it was.

Hope we get good news.

Graham Cunningham thinks Kings Palace got up ok.

We'll have to wait for news of the others.

Briar Hill been taken off in the horse ambulance with what seems to be a small fracture on his cheekbone but he should be alright. That's according to Alice.
