£33 each for train. Taxi return will cost ye £200. Will save about a £5 each getting a train, but then you will probably need to get taxi from train station to your lodgings. Id just get a taxi which is what we are doing

it depends how many of ye in the group. nine of us arriving friday afternoon also so a taxi/minibus was a no-brainer. if on your own or in a small group of 2 or 3 the train would be a no-brainer

Am going Saturday and also have a Best Mate ticket for Sunday which may or may not be used depending on how I get on and how thirsty I get in town on Saturday night.

You will be OK for off peak. I think it is anytime after 9.30am on weekdays and anytime at weekends so if you are coming back on Sunday you will be fine wth the £22 tickets.
