jump on skyrail from airport to int train station.

train from int to new St no more than 15 mins.

train from new St to cheltenham approximately 30 mins.  jobs a good un.

Taxi is a silly idea.

Birmingham airport to the Birmingham int train station takes 30 seconds on a monorail...

Then like laying says its ten mins to Birmingham New street. There's trains every 40 mins from Birmingham to Cheltenham. It takes about 45 mins.

£33 each for train. Taxi return will cost ye £200.
Will save about a £5 each getting a train, but then you will probably need to get taxi from train station to your lodgings. Id just get a taxi which is what we are doing

travel time is about the same in my experience by the way

I suppose the taxi allows you to sit comfortably and not worry about missing trains etc.....

it depends how many of ye in the group. nine of us arriving friday afternoon also so a taxi/minibus was a no-brainer. if on your own or in a small group of 2 or 3 the train would be a no-brainer

Am going Saturday and also have a Best Mate ticket for Sunday which may or may not be used depending on how I get on and how thirsty I get in town on Saturday night. Happy

thanks lads train seems to be da handiest for us.

Train is more like £20 each not £33.

Much cheaper by train and on a Friday afternoon probably quite a bit quicker too.

Was 33 return when i looked it up but we would be travelling back to airport at peak time Monday morning
Report moneypenny November 12, 2012 8:23 PM GMT
Just checked again £22 return off peak £33 if like us you need to be in airport before 10am Monday

does da off peak go from 4 fri afternoon moneypenny.we're heading home again sun morning.
Report Banned_Banks November 13, 2012 8:09 AM GMT
You will be OK for off peak. I think it is anytime after 9.30am on weekdays and anytime at weekends so if you are coming back on Sunday you will be fine wth the £22 tickets.
