True. I based my guess-rating on Noland and Roberto Goldback who I thought both gave their running. I don't think Rubi Light really got home.

Has to be said Noland was not originally meant to run in the race, Denman was.

Good point, I had forgotten that, though I believe Noland was always an intended runner in the King George until Denman got injured so he should be fit. I'm happy to downgrade the form though

Sint, I think that is irrelevant because there is no way Denman could ever live with the mighty Synchronised anyway
![]() (P!ss taking aside, congrats are due for winning a first Grade 1, and anyone who backed him. Shame he wasn't 29/1 with 100 yards to go ![]() ) |

![]() For me it njust means that Noland is a reasonable yardstick to rate the race from a handicapping pov. I didn't mean to suggest that he was a fair substitute for the Tank. |

Oh, sorry, you were talking to Sint. Apologies.

quito was disapointing 2day and there no real excuses. colm was bullish about him 2 saying he goes on this ground. and agree last years novice form gets weaker with every run this year.
make the gold cup look even more like a 2 horse race between long and kauto....and mayb grand crus starting to think pipe will defo let him take part in this. as for synchronised.....jus shocked he went off 8/1 let alone win this. SHOCKED think rubi light got the trip and was ridden that they knew he wud b if it was me stick to the oringal plan and go for the race u and win RYANAIR. |

Colm Murphy faces a race against time to get Quito De La Roque ready for Cheltenham after the Grade One winner scoped badly last week.
With the Festival just a month away, the eight-year-old is being treated for the problem that forced him to miss the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown. Until he recovers, plans for the JNwine.com Champion Chase winner remain up in the air. "He's on a course of antibiotics, so hopefully we'll have him back soon," said the County Wexford trainer. "I don't know about Cheltenham. It's too early to say." Quito De La Roque holds an entry in the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup for which he is a 25-1 chance. |
