Hi there, What a week with England U21 losing out in the final minutes. Anyway I finished the week with a profit of £23, so my bankroll now stands at £463. Most of my bets were on the football and I had only one bet on the nags which was an E/W double which didn't win. Still I'm going in the right direction if a little slow at the moment that's because of the lack of good betting opportunities. It's a bit like poker you have to have patience otherwise you lose control and end up going on tilt. Anyway good luck!

Hi there, Well this last week has been better with an increase of bankroll from $421 to £440, which is better than a loss. I did have less bets which I said I would which I think helps. Still early days and I'm learning all the time. My target is to increase my bankroll by 5% per week which so far I have more than do this on most weeks. I limit my bets to between 2% and 5% of bank which is similar to the kelly system - reducing bet size as bank goes down and increasing bank as bank goes up. Glad to see the mavs won which I said some time ago. Stick to teams that perform well ATS and you make money, all good for next season. Anyway good luck!

Hi there, This week's football has been dire. but there are still some interesting ways to make money. I have been using a idea that when you have a high score predicted game wait until the first goal and then lay that score say 1-0 or 0-1 and then wait for the next goal to come. the odds are usually about 4/1 to 5/1 so the risk is small compared to say laying 0-0 or 3-1 or any other score before the match at odds of 25/1 to 40/1 - too big a risk. You have to pick your spots, but the idea is sound. Its better than laying before the match at too higher risk to reward. Lets face it everything is a gamble, but if you keep the risk to reward ratio low then you won't get a nasty shock. I see the other day on the forum that a tipster lost a lot on laying a match at 0-0 at odds of around...

Hi there, It's been an up and down week with a loss of £28 with the bank now standing at £421. I think I had too many bets last week. I will try and not have so many bets. Also I've been **** lately tipping - it would seem everytime I tip something it losses, yet when I don't they win. I've been playing bookie, but still early days and i will update on progress later.

Hi there, It's been a good week with an increase of bankroll from £395 to £449. Most profit has been from football with a loss made on both bets in the NBA. Overall a better than expeected increase in my bankroll. I had a good result in the Champions League backing Barc to win and for the first time becoming a bookie. It felt good I also layed - yes you heard it correct - I layed for the first time laying 1.5 goals. I made several bets over the last few days where I have acted like a bookie by laying. I have had some good results, also I took advantage of the PaddyPower offer where I made an extra £50 which I have not included in the above figures. Now that I have started using these free offers I plan over the comming weeks to look at other offers as they appear - it makes sense. With...

Hi there, What a night in football plenty of goals in the game Rep of Ireland 5-0 Northern Ireland It certainly pays to check the info about the game. I checked several sites before the match revealing Nortern Ireland would be without all their regular players this information was enough for me to have a bet in the over 2.5 goals market. I was surprised at how good the price was I got on @ 2.3 I only wish every game was as easy to handicap as this. I only had half an hour before kick off to decide about the game. Tennis pick today Anyway I fancy Robert the local hero to out play the Italian today he won a very important match against Berdych even after being 2 sets down. Well Robert is the dog here in the odds, but you make your choice - it could be a good game to trade. Current...

Hi there, It's been a good week with a £73 increase in my bankroll from £322 to £395 for the last week.I made a profit in all sports I backed including football,NBA,Motor Sport and Horse racing. Most profit came from football followed by NBA basketball. I only had one bet on Motor sport and horse racing and both bets won. I've been carefull with my bankroll by only risking around 2-5% on any bet. My target each week is to gain 5% of my bankroll each week which I have done more than this some weeks. Since my challenge started I have been carefull with bank management as I know its the only way to make progress. For example, I have won on all 10 horse races by dutching a technique I use all the time since starting the challenge. My NBA record is still very good with 11-3 sides...

Hi there, Well got back last night late from my break in the west country. but got some action in some spanish football games. I backed 4 games for over 2.5 goals and 3 won and the other games finished on 2 goals, so all in all made a good profit. I watched Sebastian Vettel win the spanish grand prix this afternoon, and what a race with some great racing and strategy in play. Hope you all followed the tip I gave about the race early on in the week. I'm going to back the over 2.5 goals in the football between Aston Villa v Liverpool @ 1.93 today. Anyway good luck!

Hi there, Last night was good result, but it could have been better. First I backed Swansea to win @1.95 and also over 2.5 @ 2.35 Now after the first goal went in I greened up on both bets and proteced my stake. I have been doing this quite a bit recently, but I sometimes I think it would be better to let things ride. But by protecting my stake and excepting a smaller profit I limit damage to my bankroll, because what I want is to gradually increase my bankroll with as little risk as possible. I sometimes think a 30% profit is better with no risk than taking any chances. But I will see if my betting balls get any bigger and in the future take the risk. its still early days and I'm learning as I go, but I won't be risking more than 2-5% on any bet. The most important rule I know...
