Benn was given an absolute gift decision v Peynaud last time.

Nick Webb has some scary looking knockouts but his opposition to date has been shocking, even by the standards of 12-0 UK prospects.

It's hard to get away from Parker's record looking very weak, points against Takam is his best results. Way too cautious vs AJ, and he looked happy to be outpointed from an early stage. Whyte looks to be improving, genuinely worried AJ and dug very deep to win vs Chisora, he has more heart that JP. Think Parker won't engage & it'll go to points. Whyte winning by 2-3 rounds.

Ref made things difficult for Parker against Joshua, and Whyte going life and death with Chisora is hardly a positive indicator of Whyte being world class. That being said, I agree with you that Whyte on points will be the outcome tonight

Hard to get too excited about this one. "Talksport" have been hyping it for all it's worth. In the last few days they've talked about little else. For me it's just two not quite good enough, 2nd raters meeting for a possible chance to lose to Joshua a second time. There's not much appetite from the viewing public for Joshua/Parker 2. For that reason, I expect Whyte to get the decision if it is close, which it might be. Parker will have to up his level considerably to win this one. I can't say he's not capable, but he hasn't shown enough so far to suggest that he wants it badly enough.

I don't think much of Webb, tbh. His technique is poor and his conditioning is even worse. It's a no bet for me, as the build up has been far to relaxed and friendly for my liking. Allen has already announced his imminent retirement, so I wonder how strong his motivation is. In normal circumstances I would take him to beat Webb fairly easily, but he has taken this fight at short notice; is it just a payday for him? He certainly doesn't seem to be taking it very seriously.

Cannot believe the garbage Sky put on Conor Benn. There has been hype for this ppv all week come on after the darts, and they give Conor Benn his own like 30 minute programme.

was a big win bonus for whoever won. Hearn certainly wasn't confident Allen would get it though. Allen was getting well paid tonight regardless

If you can't beat a small, not very fit heavyweight who has taken the fight at 5 days notice, you should walk away, imo. Some people were touting this guy as a prospect. Shocked

Just shows how people will put their money on fighter they haven't seen and know little or nothing about, based on a few ridiculous comments from promoters or casuals.
