You told everybody that Mayweather was a coward and would never fight Manny. You never had any credibility to shoot to shiit but if you had have had some BANG it would have gone right there. So why would you want to remind the world how hopeless you are?

I dont really like the language coming off floyd, it's like he's coming up with ready made excuses "not in love with the sport anymore" no brash bravado really, not as outspoken as usual. And will use his age as an excuse if he loses. Mosley kinda of sold me on mayweather winning, no outcome would really surprise me, considering how long their career's have been, any how speed has been such an important aspect of their game at the age they are now you can just kinda hit a wall like roy jones did, even a fraction. I'd lean towards floyd because of his better fundamentals and defense, but no with much confidence, pac's workrate, angles & footwork could be huge, plus toney picked pac a while ago and he's the man. So who knows

Guess the site will just crash when they go on sale. Good luck to those that have booked flights/hotels though and will be tyring to get one. Christ knows what you will have to pay if you go out there with no ticket, which is going to be the case for the majority of UK people.

I never thought I'd bet against Mayweather in any serious way but Pac by decision is really crying out to me as the bet here.
I don't like the look of Mayweather in his last couple of fights and even if he genuinely wins the fight, which I actually suspect will be the case, he could struggle to get the decision anyway. Maybe no bet and just enjoy the fight. |

What is the earliest and latest time that this fight could start here (BST)?

|
|
By:
Why are they having such a sh!t undercard?
|
|
By:
U 4 real? When u ever hear of people talking bout the undercards for the Rumble in the Jungle or the Thrilla in Manila for example....If anything, i'm amazed they have even sacrificed the money to get Loma and LSC on the card, genuinely thought it wud b made up of TMT rejects and total unknowns
|
|
By:
**** undercard
u need to get out more and watch a sky eddie hearn main event this year |

Anyone getting sick of listening to Freddie Roach in the build up to this fight, spouting total nonsense like Manny will win every round and he'd beat him with 1 hand tied behind his back etc etc

it's extremely rare for these hyped up fights to actually deliver
invariably they end up anti-climactic anyone who's anyone knows this is at least 3 years too late when it actually could've been a classic neither are the fighter they were but manny's wane has been the more pronounced he's lairy, brash but a consummate boxer just can't see past a Moneyweather win would like to be proven wrong but doubt it |
|
By:
I reckon now is when it will be the best it could have been between then, on account as the legs and pac's power isn't what it was, they'll be trading and it will be a more action fight.
|
|
By:
can't see Money trading..not his m.o..just be looking to build up the points
more incumbent on Manny to do the pressurising if he's up to it personally think it'll be cagier than most might presuppose all the conjecture will go out the window when the bell sounds for whom will it toll? |
|
By:
looking at oddschecker, they have the start time as 0530 BST
is that set in stone or could it be moved forward? |
|
By:
sorry,or more to the point an earlier time?

Rood, who started as a ticket writer for one of MGM’s Lake Tahoe properties 20 years ago and today supervises the lines on all sporting events, attributes the astronomical numbers in part to attractive pricing for two wildly popular fighters. Mayweather is a -200 favorite after opening at -240, while Pacquiao is a +170 underdog after opening at +200.
Advertisement “We’re getting big bets on both of them,” Rood said. “We got down to as low as -170 on Mayweather at one point, and that’s when most of the action started coming back on Mayweather and now we’re at two dollars. And we’ve been at [the current odds] for about a week now. We’re getting really good two-way action at that price. “Mayweather hasn’t been this cheap since the De La Hoya fight (in 2007) and maybe only once or twice since he’s been a professional. And Manny Pacquiao is normally a pretty solid three-, four-, five-dollar favorite himself, so you’re getting plus money on him, which is great if you believe in Manny Pacquiao.” Rood said the biggest wager to date has been a $500,000 bet on Pacquiao, though he’s been in communication with a punter seeking to place a $1m bet on Mayweather and hoped to have it finalized by Thursday night. “We’ve been talking to them back and forth throughout the last three or four days,” he said. “It sounds like they’re getting their finances in order to get the bet in the cage.” Rood, said tickets for Pacquiao are being written at a 3.3-1 ratio at the MGM, but the ratio at sports books further away from the strip are even more skewed toward the Filipino congressman, anywhere from 7-1 to 10-1. “Public opinion is definitely Manny Pacquiao,” he said. The trend makes Pacquiao by decision one of the biggest losing propositions for the MGM, but that would pale in comparison to a draw, which has been bet down to 6-1 after opening at 22-1. |

Can't believe people have bought into the hype of this fight. Both guys just cashing in before they ride into the sunset, two should have fought 6-7 years ago and/or multiple times by now. This sport has reduced itself to a circus side show for its top grossing "stars".
The televised undercard is comprised of two pathetic fights. Pacquaio and Mayweather will walk away with an absurd payday which will dwarf the entire earnings of all boxers in the world combined this year. Its sickening. |

lets be honest. manny will likely win 7-5.8-4. winning the fight is one thing. being awarded the decision is another. time to bet on this fight is when manny hits odds on probably after round 10

I dont know why guys say the most stupid things, im used to it in the philippines as they are a race of just dumb idiots, but to see brits speaking the same has me worrying for out country. It was always floyd who wanted the fight but he wanted it on a level playing field, that means no one using drugs. Now it was so strange that after they signed the contracts to fight team manny asked team floyd if either of them are ciought juicing could they just get a $5,000,000 fine. Team floyd response, if you fail a drugs test it will cost you a lot more than $5,000,000.
Now a quick question to all you guys who think or thought manny was always clean, why would they ask that question especially after contracts had already been signed. |
