frampton stoppage looking likely, looks impressive
By:
Keep him turning, takes him an age to get his feet set
By:
kiko very very wary, not forgot that ko obviously
By:
Superb so far by Frampton
By:
Yep just take your time no need to turn this into a shoot out
By:
dunno what barry jones is on about, if kiko lets his hands go wildy hes getting ktfo.
By:
One thing Carl does poorly is his ability to tie his man up
By:
Fantastic performance. Showed he could take a shot as well.
By:
good performance though a virtual shut out. Bring on Frampton - Quigg
By:
AND THE NEW
By:
i thought he was awful but rarely a realistic shot on here gets a fair shout.
he fights like that again on world scene and he will get killed. he was rubbish |
By:
honestly - even khan wld kill him.
let alone anyone else. time to take him out |
By:
what on earth are you talking about?

nice to hear Frampton wants the Quigg fight above all others...ha ha they gave Hearn some stick there going to be a great build up if they get it on
By:
Hearn will probably offer 10 shillings and a curly wurly. Like Carl says he has the geniune belt he brings the fans
By:
he isnt very good. isnt that obvious?

was a great night, thank feck i brought a coat!

By:
cheers for the link mate but decided to just download it this morning. Weird stoppage in the Mattyhsse fight, Ortiz looked a bit reluctant but strange how the ref was so keen to wave it off. Ref looked familiar has he made other dodgy calls recently?
140 looking good though, Burns better get some domestic battles lined up he'll get eaten alive if he tries for a title at that weight |
By:
You'll probably remember his name as he's come in for a lot of abuse regarding scorecards ACD. Paulie referred to him once as "Golden Boy's lap dog". Yeah Burns cant be worrying about his jaw and going in with these boys
By:
notice there hasnt been any coverage/reports of the fight on sky sports news
must be cos he left eddie hearn/matchroom seems a bit petty that given he won a world title will be all the more satisfying then when he demolishes scott quigg |
By:
not so much that he left as that they're desperately trying to get him back...obviously playing hard ball i.e. look this is how we will ignore you if you dont come to an agreement. Petty isn't the word, they're like a bunch of kids all of them.
I'm broadly a fan of what Hearn is doing but he needs to stop pretending he owns a TV network, surprised how much slack SKY are giving him really. I'm guessing the Quigg bandwagon is a dwindling force on here now I'm still not getting off the train yet...been tough times to be a Quigg fan since the Munroe fight (nearly 2 years ago!) but still think he has the talent to be competitive with Frampton...goes without saying Frampton will be way better prepared should they meet though. |
By:
I was at the event and it's by far my best ever Boxing experience.
By:
i was at it too rhino great night although i actually thought the atmosphere wasnt as good outside compared to in the arena even though the crowd was bigger
must be to do with the noise echoing back in an arena i like quigg alabaster seems a good lad and a top boxer but i dont think hes in carls class but then again i am biased ![]() just watched the local news and they interviewed carl there he actually fought with a fracture in his hand for some of the fight which makes it an even better achievement |
By:
you may be right dasizzler...I've always thought there wasn't much between them potentially but no question Frampton has been brought along the better.
Frampton really impressed me on saturday and looked to have gears in reserve too. A real pity Quigg doesnt have a better opponent on saturday to further build the hype. |
By:
*not that Jamoye is a mug but he took a frightful beating against Yamanaka and that was at Bantam
By:
I like Quigg its the Hearn Gallacher tripe which gets me. Until Quigg proves his chin I favour Carl.
By:
Ladbrokes Frampton 1-2 Quigg 13-8
By:
What I never understand is why they always go on about winning streaks in Joe's gym? Never heard any other gym go on about this but for some reason he's obsessed with it
By:
He does love himself does Joe
By:
looks like quigg v frampton should b made
