Great shout ACD. Bizzare scorecards good to see no biased judging for the home fighter. One judge gave Brook 4 of the first 5. Struggled to see that myself

Yep that is a bit mad, a clear enough winner though in the end. Still firmly believe porter on the juice but just proves that PEDS aren't everything unless you've the talent to back them up...in the hands of more gifted fighters like Pac and jmm they're very dangerous indeed but for someone like porter they can only elevate him to a certain level.
Guessing khan brook is next, by far the best risk/Reward for brook. Be very interestng what happens after that...with a few million quid banked will party boy brook have the resolve to stay dedicated? Got my doubts but it will be so frustrating if he doesn't...100% discipline for 3or 4 years now and the worlds his oyster. Chuffed to **** he pulled it off last night, about time we had another genuine player on the world scene. |

It'd be at Wembley. Thats what the interviewer said. But it would be quite big in US anyway because Khan is popular there. So would probably be PPV there but fought in England.

I'll be amazed if it's not khan next, doesn't feel like a Wembley fight to me but once sky start hyping it I suppose it's possible. Kell wins that and he becomes a ppv fixture over here so theoretically they could get anybody bar the big 3 over. Thurman would be the logical fight after khan....they could afford to get him over but would they want to even....makes more sense to fight on US prime time really in that division, see if they can land a SHO ppv a few fights down the line |

hmmm, well apparently hearn just been on talksport saying khan - brook unlikely for his next fight, more likely next summer with Brook defending in Sheffield against a 'decent' name meanwhile in november/december.
Sounds like the same route they went when they made Froch-Mack...I know it's a cash-in insurance jobbie and its a risky sport and all that but these kind of fights piss me off as a fan. I'd probably see it differently if I was the boxer but just seems a bit of a waste of time...strike while the iron is hot...particularly with khan who could get ended at any time. |

Wud put alot of money on it being Bundu next, which is a strong arena fight and no walkover either. Hearn/Sky will deffo hype life out of Khan fight then to make it Wembley next summer. Of all the names in the division they'll be avoiding Thurman the most imo

as Brook was mandatory, think it'll be either Bundu r Dan Ion to prob fight an eliminator 2b mandatory. But Brook will have a voluntary next as Hearn was quick to say aftr fight in 1 of his IFLTV interviews, so i'm guessing they'll give Bundu the shot as he's known in UK

willhills gone 11/8 Brook outright against khan, fight to take place before 31st may. Thats a good price if you can be arsed to tie up your money, although you'd probably get bigger price on the stoppage if the fight comes about

im not sure i wudnt be going crazy on brook still, i think was a very lose fight last night no one won that fight by more than 2 rounds for me. He showed a toughness that i didnt think was there but porters work was so sloppy anything brook threw looked v gd as much classier work. would be a total diff fight against khan.

be interesting to see the fight score collectors scores tomorrow, think most had Brook winning clearly...watching the showtime broadcast now they certainly gave him tons more credit than the doom-mongers Watt and Halling.

Lads, Ive got my stake on this bet so i'll stick it on the forum now.
Laddies have a special, Brook next opponent.......Bundu is 12/1. Massive price. Hearns already said it aint Khan next and Brook will fight a homecoming fight on December 6th at the motorpoint arena..........Bundu is perfect for this. Apparenty Bundu vs Don has been ordered as a final eliminator but Bundu could easily turn this down if Kell offers him a voluntary defense. Its still there with Laddies, £10 max stake online but ive took some in the shops aswell. |
