Oli, thought the comments from the bbc boys were pro Benchabla, especially Richie Woodhall's (who I am a fan of) suggestion that "either one of them could have got a count" when the Algerian took his second of the final round. Quite how that last round was scored level before the public warning is beyond me?!
Benchabla is clearly a talented fighter, though he regressed appreciably from his decent first round showing, largely due to the pace and pressure that Gvozdyk applied.

The draw has certainly opened up, good luck.

Cant believe that!!  I have been robbed (and felt Robbed) on MANY occasions over the years BUT that is UTTERLY UNREAL?
By:

Thanks sj, surely they have to appeal that utterly disgusting case of robbery!!  Unless its one of those buying medals cases ;)

Sj, do you know how long the window of appeal is?

Official on the Olympics website.

all appeals are ignored by olympic committee. same stuff in khytrov-ogogo match. they just reject these appeals...
i just don't understand how this sh1t happens in our age of super cameras and 1/20000s replays. that's fukcing impossiible.

they just decided that ukraine has already a lot of boys in finals

these judges are absolutely crazy

horrible stuff

Thanks Areyou, seemed a simple choice to me!  The lad in my opinion was comfortably the best in this divison so far an had way more to give

Good thing is light heavy final isnt till sunday, not tomorrow. They've already overturned 2 decisions this tournament that is a positive but turned down an appeal from Krhytov after the Ogogo fight which was just as bad as tonight if not worse

Hate to go on but I'm utterly gobsmacked that, that sort of robbery happens at the Olympics!!
By:

When: 10 Aug 12 22:56
they need to put these judges to some forrest and shoot all of them

ffs i can't believe this sh1t happening in 2012 olympics!!

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!

In the pro's you can kind of aim of for some hometown slightly biased decisions!  But the Ukrainian utterly boxed the KAZics head off!!  You just (well I did) just expect the am's to be honest!  I have NEVER used it However; this was CLEARLY a FIX (Sorry gents for the F word) but there is no way that, that was a fair call in anyones book!!

I was shocked that he was only ahead by 1 after 2 rounds.... I am left aghast at the 5-3 score for Niyazymbetov in the final round, backed up and hardly scoring clean.

I was on at 12/1 Cry

By:
jin_kazz
When: 10 Aug 12 23:10
i'll tell you when i read local news tomorrow :)

but i really don't believe that olympic committee would change his mind

this judgement is awful and they just keep hiding the truth.. that's sad..
