I think Carl Froch & Amir Khan would beg to differ, you seem to be getting a bit to excited by Fury beating a overweight, unproven out of shape fighter.

Great to see big Tyson doing it.  He'll put up a better performance than the Haye when he fights one of the brothers in yrs to come

If they've got any sense they'll wait till both the Klitschko's have retired before they even think about going for a HW world title.

Wel done Tyson lad. Showed plenty of heart when it mattered but don't think Chisora's agricultural style is anywhere near world class. He would have embarrassed himself against Wlad. Fury needs to get back in the gym, get quality sparring and give it another couple of years and if he keeps improving he could well be our next heavyweight world champion. He doesn't need to rush because there isn't much outside the Klitschko's and they aren't getting any younger.

He is definitely someone who can put boxing back on the map in this country and what a shot in the arm to have such a good fight back where it belongs on terrestrial tv so the masses can enjoy it.

What an idiotic comment. Price may well also have a future in the division but to make such a comment reveals pure bias and cannot be taken seriously. Fury has all the tools to be a force at world level in a couple of years. What he has lacked in the past is focus. It seems his father's incarceration has caused him to buck his ideas up.

Im not biased at all - im from london so not a one eyed scouse fan. Price has got genuine boxing skills as proved by his olympic medal. Just compare the techniques to see who has the better skills - you dont know what you are talkin about if you cant see Price has more potential
By:

You are jumping to conclusions. I seem to remember a certain olympic heavyweight champion who couldn't move beyond British standard. Before we hand Price any accolades lets see him in with a better standard of fighter than he has been in with thus far. To be fair the same applies to Fury but he has only just turned 23 and Price is 28 and Fury has just come through a fight where he had to dig in with a difficult round. Lets see what happens to Price when he has his whiskers tested.

Which doesn't mean that Price can't also develop. I am taking issue with your assertion that Price would take him to school when there is so much more to be revealed about both fighters.

Daft to say price would have him out of there or would do a number on the big fella. We don't know how well he takes a punch, don't think he's took one yet and got dropped in the amateurs. Tyson's not got excellent power but he does seem to possess a really good chin so to say price wins in one just seem a bit ludicrous

Yeh we need to get that Italian policeman for him if pryce fans get too excited.

Could u imagine wat that policeman would think if pryce dominated the heavy division
By:
carlos monzon
When: 25 Jul 11 21:20
Povetkin destroyed the policeman though so go with that theory.

And yes fury lost avery close decsion to pryce but he was only 17. And alot of people including fury thought he won.

But he battered him in England squad training for the olympics and his camp thought it was very unfair pryce went to the olympics instead of fury.

Pryce has a very serious chin problem

Price has a defence and genuine boxing skills

Fury's chin is wide open and he gets square on all the time.

You cannot seriously compare techniques.

Price did bottle it and froze at the olympics- hence got knocked out

After only 15 fights and 17 year old fury fought price who had much more expereinced and knocked him down  as well but lost by a fairly wide margin because of computer system scoring.

Fury a junior  world bronze medalis. After only 10 fights.
