Josie protested too much last night
Which suggests that Sam's accusations have a ring of truth to them ![]() imo |

think most of the viewers will agree with these comments (imo) Sam and Josie obviously know each other from the audition process so Sam knows she'll take what he says with good humour most of the time, but the way hes constantly questioning her and only her is bordering on bullying somebody just because he thinks he can get away with it. Its notable he hasn't been anything like this with any of the other HMs probably because he knows they wouldn't take it from him. When he first came into the house i thought he'd be great for the show but after yesterday i don't think hes going to last too long. Hes pretty much guaranteed to be up once they can vote for him and now hes alienated himself from the JJJ fans. Hes gone about things the wrong way by targetting Josie and i think the only effect it'll have is improve her chances of winning! |
By:
I don't, because she is seething, and it's water of his back
Sam will need to be protected by the prods, but I'm pretty sure they will Intelligent bloke too, and well capable of winning S&R tasks. If next week is a cull vote, he'd only have to dodge one eviction to make it to the final |

im not Josies biggest fan either but even most that have hated the whole JJJ thing accept their feelings for each other are real. You only had to see how Josie acted on Friday night to see how real those feelings are (from her side anyway). For Sam to say what he said after just 2days in their company is pretty insulting.
I think Dave spoke a lot of sense in the video i posted. I think Sams come in with the intention of stirring things up which is great but theres a differnce between that and just bullying one person. I think hes made a pretty big error in targetting Josie in the way he did and question her motives because i think even her harshest critic accepts she genuinly does like JJ. |

By:
Anyone that thinks Sam has any chance of winning Big Brother has clearly not done their homework.
By:
It is fair enough og him though Dylan to ask the exact sort of question a lot of viewing want asking, ie, is this just a scam so you can get loads of magazine deals when you leave the house.
It's a valid question, and Josie has been seething ever since cos she knows he's totally called her and JJ's bluff. I've seen on those threads just as many saying, 'Well done Sam. Keep winding them up. Josie can give it out but can't take it, what goes around, comes around' blah, blah, blah |

Anyone who has a username "get shabby out" and only joined today clearly hasnt done any homework

is it fair enough of him to ask those questions though after being in the house for just 2 days? If you watched Josie on Friday night i think its pretty obvious that her feelings for JJ are real. Im sure they will do plenty of magazine interviews afterwards so what? but he suggested the only reason she was with JJ was to get money afterwards which is clearly rubbish if you've watched any of the show, and a pretty insulting thing to suggest after being in their company for such a short time.
Like i said in the first post of course there will be those that approve of what hes doing (those that don't like Josie and JJ) but imo the majority will side on the HMs they've been watching for the last 2 months over someone thats come in for a few days and thinks its his place to judge their feelings. |
By:
He's good for the house - no doubt about it, but I don't see him as anything but a short term, high impact player at the moment.
Would be gone in the three way vote or double eviction unfortunately. He's a character that is too big not to attract a healthy proportion of votes inside and outside the house. Let's see how much damage he can do to others while he's there. |
By:
thought he might kill off Josies chances because there was the possibility of her losing her temper with him, but now after yesterday i think hes actually enhanced her chances. Even her biggest critic i think would accept she does have feelings for JJ so to suggest she only got with him so she could sell her story is pretty low especially considering hes only been there for a couple of days. Can see Josie getting sympathy from that.
By:
Why is Josie so unsettled by it though? Should be water off a duck's back. She should express her counter-view and leave it at that but Josie being Josie she is now rounding up other HMs to get them all on her side, and completely obsessing over it, and whining about him - I don't see any of this behaviour gaining her sympathy. Her insecurity is off the scale. Viewers know he's come in with all the knowledge he has gained from watching the show beforehand. As soon as he questioned either of them, the JJJ lovers were bound to be up in arms Dylan. Not sure how he could have 'played it' any differently, other than sit in the corner, and become an inactive presence. He was bound to polarise but polarising is not a bad thing if he reaches the stage of 'vote to save' which, with producer manipulation, is a serious possibility.

Give it up Dylan...u've posted 5 times on this thread - and EVERY post repeats exactly the same thing...ok, we get it...u want to ramp JJJ. Good luck.
And as for...."For Sam to say what he said after just 2days in their company is pretty insulting." Seriously! WFT?! at least he's had 2 days, what about all of us slating them on a daily basis. And Sam hasn't 'gone about it in the wrong way'. He's gone about it in EXACTLY the right way. They've threw him in there to mix it up a bit and be annoying/argumentative, not to win. Obviously he'd love to win it but don't see it being very high on his agenda right now. |
By:
Might only take a couple of noms this week and Josie could be history
Even JJ fans might vote for her vote to increase his chances |
By:
I think he's terrible news for JJJ, we need more of him questioning JJ1 though, it's JJ1's motivations that are the most wierd.
And we're at the stage where the producers don't need to save JJJ any more. |
By:
Could be interesting if Josie continues to get offended etc and John James just sits back and does nothing. If Josie isn't over reacting, why isn't John James (who hasn't been shy of confrontation in the past) not defending his woman?
Could end up splitting JJJ fans if they both continue to react in the way they are. |
By:
I'm sure many JJ fans hate Josie anyway

Spot on ^

Even her biggest critic i think would accept she does have feelings for JJ
I don't believe either of them have romantic feelings for each other. It's the most unconvincing romantic relationship I've seen in the house. It's a relationship that they've both just fallen into, out of boredom...... and I do believe with one eye on the possible cash and interest it will generate. |
By:
Watched BB with my wife the other night. She is fairly convinced that Josie does not have genuine feeling for John James.
By:
i think their feelings are genuine in as much as feelings in that type of situation can be genuine. They mmight leave the house and feel differently but thats not the same as pretending to feel a certain way to make money out of it afterwards which is what Sam has said about Josie. You only had to watch Josie on Friday night to see how she feels.
I never used the word romantic by the way, because im not sure if they do have romantic feelings for each other but i do think its pretty clear that they have feelings for each other. Im not sure how Sam could come to his judgement after a couple of days and why he feels he needs to share that view. I think hes played it wrong by targetting one HM and being pretty judgemental based on what? If he'd carried on the way he started he might have had a chance but by focussing on 1 HM it might come accross as bullying and inevitably the other HMs whove spent all that time with Josie are going to side with her. What might happen is the HMs just choose to ignore Sam becuas they get fed up of him being overly personal with people hes just met which kind of defeats the purpose of him being in there. |
By:
what a yawn thread
By:
Sam at 16.5 is an utter joke. His role is to rile, antagonize and offend. Depending on how the established HMs react to this, his actions may well affect which of them win or lose. But he can't possibly win it himself.
He shouldn't even have odds or be a runner. He's just a machine-like stooge put in by BB, designed to shake the real contenders up. |
By:
... and I agree with opening poster. He'll be out, Bea-like, well before finals night
By:
He shouldn't even have odds or be a runner.
That's a pretty extreme view for sure! Not saying you're wrong either, but as he's listed among the under 20.0's it is an interesting view. |
By:
When confronted by some of the HMs last night he basically used the Charley Uchea defence of "Im only being honest" and he wouldnt change because it was his character. Thats code for "I dont care if I insult or offend or make people unhappy" which may appeal to 20%+ of the HC but the casual viewer is a different matter.
Brilliant HM though. |
By:
But he's different from Bea and Charlie in that he's not malicious, he remains upbeat and level-headed.
By:
His biggest problem is when he calms down from the antics - not sure his 'personality' is all that appealing beyond the crotch thrusting and being an idiot.
By:
Hes much more self-aware and funny than Charlie but I think he is malicious.
By:
OT simper - do you really on have 31 replies on here!?
By:
what he said yesterday was quite nasty, the HMs are probably worried about whats happening on the outside and whatever hes said hes clearly watched a lot of the show so when he suggests that Josie might only be with JJ so she can sell her story that must make you pretty insecure as to how its being reported on the outside. I think he also said something to Dave about his family which Dave seemed pretty offended by.
He has the potential to be a great HM but i think hes played it wrong by being overly offensive instead of just dropping the odd bomb here and there. |
By:
He's already polling higher than Josie on DS.
By:
He'll poll well in the favourites polls (particularly in places like DS)- there's no doubt there, but he'll do badly in a negative vote as well.
By:
Doubt he'll do as well in a real vote vs the polls - these 'cult' characters always do better in polls I believe.
By:
Sam is an utter twonk. End of Thread.
By:
No, sorry, thread not ended. Sam is class. Just what the house needed after Ben's exit.
Josie has been using the same tactic today she used to get rid of Caoimhe – going round other HMs spreading poison, exaggerating and saying things that Sam said he didn't actually say. Meanwhile, John James used to get really angry when other people upset his beloved Josie. So why has he remained quiet while Sam Pepper has been at work? Both have been thoroughly exposed. |
By:
Furthermore JJ1 had no interest in giving the likes of Rachael 1 and Keeley a chance, yet has been arguing about giving Sam the benefit of the doubt all day.
By:
Certainly he is entertaining to watch in the short term. However he is a cocky little idiot and I can not see the public wanting him to win after the novelty has worn off.
By:
wheteher JJ or J wins, we shall see. It is starting to become very stale I grant you. However though people may become bored of them, I don't think there is a massive resentment against them with the general public. (apart from on DS)
