Bristol City v Hull

Sometimes a statistical nugget needs digging out and that is definitely the case with Hull City. The Tigers' record last season was pretty average (they finished 11th) and this season they are equally middling, having started with four wins from seven games and they currently sit in 8th. However, their away form is very, very good. In fact last season they had the fourth best away stats in the division, and with two out of three won on the road this season, their record in their last 15 on their travels is nine wins, four draws and just two defeats.

Ironically, one of those two losses was at Bristol City, but that was on the last day of the season when often anything goes. The Robins have not won or even scored at home so far in three attempts, and have lost four of their opening seven fixtures.

Derby v Millwall

Okay, I am struggling to fathom out how this one has been priced up. The league table alone suggests Derby should be shorter given they are 7th and Millwall are 16th. The Rams have won three out of four at home, including a 2-1 derby success against Nottingham Forest last weekend. Millwall, on the other hand, have won only one game so far and that was back on August 13. The Lions have not scored in their last four league games either, and a 5-0 pasting at Wolves in the Carling Cup in midweek won't have done anything to boost their morale.

West Ham v Peterborough & Middlesbrough v Ipswich

Last week's goalless derby game with Millwall ended a run of four successive West Ham fixtures which contained at least four goals. While it's unlikely the Hammers are going to serve up games with four goals every week, they do seem capable of punishing the more porous defences - and Peterborough, despite their better than expected start, have yet to keep a clean sheet. They do have an attack that knows where the goal is though, and I suggest doubling this game up in Over 2.5 Goals multiple with the fixture at the Riverside.

Middlesbrough have scored at least once in every league game so far but last weekend's brief league leaders have yet to record a clean sheet at home. Visitors Ipswich score and concede freely, and five of their seven games so far have produced more than 2.5 goals.

Back Over 2.5 Goals Multiple @ combined odds of 2.72
