.......demonstration of some of  the different options and strategies to offset losses after the bet at lower odds to those laid....to force odds out (ease) using "batches" where a sum of money is disbursed over time.etc etc

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_JhGo-nU3M

I have attached this demo (one of many) to help understand the remarkable world of bots .

This is the simplest of bots (a bot for scalping) ...if anyone has an idea for a bot we can try and create one as a team (using team  ideas). The betangel platform is the only one I have access to...(unless someone has another we can use). I would luv to share some innovative bots I have come across and perhaps others have some interesting and rewarding ideas also ...but one step at a time I guess.

Second Coming I would like to hear more  info on :

"the ZR bots are a little more complicated than just lay unders/back overs...they both both sides for most runners....creating market prices and respecting certain moves....watch very carefully....the algorithms he has got are amazing..."

Laying unders and backing overs is what its all about Henry and thats what his amazing algorithms are used to determine.

Thanks Spy...sounds like a very basic bot....must be more than that to have a special name like ZR  sounds like something from Star Wars....can anyone access the platform used I wonder.

Spy...  Any ideas for a bot /program other than simple scalping of unders and overs

Here is another simple one I used to do...

Learn how to frame a market first, no bot can help if your prices are up sh?t creek without a paddle,

I'm no help to you Henry as I don't use a bot.

Earlycrow is correct in what he says about accurate market. It's not ZR's bot but his price accuracy thats the crucial part of his setup.

lol.  Of course it can.  You don't need to be able to frame a market to be able to have a profitable automated betting platform...

The carp that some people speak is baffling.  Out of all the bots on BF, I would suggest the number of them that have anything to do with framing a market is a very small number in the single digit range.

You are yet to show us a bot that has anything to do with "ease"ing a price....  Or moving it in any direction at all....

By:

BJT ... I dont have a bot that does that...I can (I believe) understand the basics of one only ..understand a concept ...I just dont seem to be able to articulate  (the concept)  in a way many (you)  can understand..I will try again tomorrow ish ... I am very very confident there are ones simply because of very well structured patterns that appear in some instances of easing prices and for that matter firming prices....they definitely appear "programme driven".\\

I think many underestimate the mathematics (algorithms)used in internet driven trading ....

These days I am "pattern driven" in my decision to lay a horse ...often happy to pick up the 20% (div. 6) to say 8 % (div.13). ..Becomes a game of snakes and ladders trying to hit say 10 successful lays to get to   100% of committed exposure....before hitting a snakes head....so I have stopped ..6 or so months ago with trying to get a successful (for me ) bot to work

I just thought if we all bounced ideas around we could decide on some concepts and program using betangel platform (or any other),,,something to do on week days ....while we play the waiting game....

Having said all that maybe I should create a UK thread to invite successful bot program suggestions and then bring here......or maybe no one is interested .......

Ahhhh the simple days where the TAB ladies would simply write out the ticket!!

Bots for dummies is what BJT is referring to Henry, again for the dummies (BJT & Co) all ZR's work is on getting his market as accurate as possible

Bot ideas using betangel or other platforms ...

"I am Aus and trying to think outside square for a bot using betangel...Is anyone been successful and if so do you have any  tips (without giving any secrets away)..

I would like to generate interest with some friends . I am familiar with Betangel platform ....

Also does anyone believe there are bots that can cause horses to ease or firm (regardless of interim loss ) for purposes of say, other market framers to  follow suit....

Or are there particularly clever ideas for bots that maybe friends and I can think about...

Cheers

Agree with that.  You are much better off asking on a forum where people understand what you are talking about.  Most on here don't have even the simplest concept of what a market is made up of no matter how much they preach about being able to "frame" one....

Is "ZR"s bot the only one on Betfair?  Is that the link that henry showed us?  ZR uses 10 pound stakes?

I am way under you judge.  I in no way saw how he programmed that bot based on his assessed prices on the market he framed......  CryCry

A bit like you when I asked you if market was as accurate as you say it is, why are some punters paying the PC, your answer was if you got 2.20 about a 2.00 pop. If that wasn't the dumbest answer ever given on this forum, its fkn close, Oh I almost forgot, you also said they don't bet in all markets, another gem of an answer LaughLaughLaugh

Also i was being serious, you're not using the 2+2=4 that i'm using, and I thank the Lord for that

No wonder you don't understand if that is the extent of your mathematical ability.

You are right.  I am completely baffled by how it is possible to pay PC....  ExcitedExcited

Hope things pick up for you.  Maybe the next database you buy won't be simply a database of naked "ZR" pictures.....
