Gai obviously though she'd out do the old man and tip the lot! |

Oh what a cynical world we live in........Aker i goota say i agree with u up to a point, this is definitely not the real aker, only 32 replies in 3 years the real aker could never keep his pie hole shut that much.
i never mention anything about tipping but anyways, Aker the system is getting far more corrupt now, that it has been in the whole of my involvement over 40 odd years. It is becoming organized in its big corrupt pockets. The administrators of the sport dont have the powers they need or maybe even they dont want to dig to deep for fear of what may be exposed, maybe its even the work load or under funded (but we all really know its a "boys club" protecting their resume for their climb up the corprate ladder)........... the trainers know what to do, where to get it, how much to use, when to give it and when not, how to mask it and so much more. This knowledge is not obtained thru trial and error, they are shown, they are told, the chain has a lot of links. I've been doing this a long time and i'm not that naive to suggest the sport is brought to it's knees, and that we bring all the legends of the game crashing down but they must DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND. to say it will always be there is just not good enough. I know and Aker knows, that the jockeys talk and yes they do bet. But betting on other horses in their race, having other jockeys aware that you are having a big bet in the race and offering reward for whatever. Talking on phones to other jockeys about tactics and speed profiles, talking to managers and so called advisors about race maps, having bowlers place the bets and collect for them. the chain has a lot of links. And now we come to the betting juggernauts, the corporate organizing and controlling of the whole betting industry. You just mark my words, in 5 years, 90% of all race and sports betting in Australia will be managed by 4 companies and maybe even a duopoly, unless safe guards are taken. This is a corruption with a different head, this is the Gordon Gekko of the betting industry. This is where the blind eyes turn from because this is where the money trail starts, this is where the laws and investigation powers must be the strongest, and a national body needs to have powers. The crimes we are talking about ALWAYS HAVE A MONEY TRAIL. Aker, anyone who says "where there is money there will always be corruption, so get on with it", may be described as a realist or a spin doctor, or maybe even "in on the rort". Whatever your motives are, or opinions are you are free to write, but to condone corruption so an industry can flourish doesnt fit will with me. but hey after 4years and 30 odd replies, i'm glad it has brought u out of the closet. please forgive the grammar (aimed at DA) its late and my drug of choice is at its highest ![]() |

AKER, good old AKER.
I don't know you, never dealt with you, couldn't care less about your thoughts and levels of integrity but I will say this if you think it's ok to steal, **** you. if you think it's ok to cheat, **** you. if you think you can show your smug head in this thread and mouth off like a 15 year old little brat, then once again, **** you. yes it's happening, they're cheating, they're stealing but you can't condone it, there's no ****g way you can condone it, to support such efforts should only result in 1 thing and I want you to do this for me, it's what needs to happen for you to understand how stupid you are making yourself to be in front of all of these people. I want you to walk into the bathroom, look into the mirror, squeeze up your fat little fist and drive it right underneath your chin because you're a ****g increpid little clown for coming in here with such an attitude, you carry on like you're apart of the mafia, I bet you're not, I know you're not. You talk about keyboard warriors, you talk about "simpleton's", you talk about mugs, you're a ****g hypocrite, I had never even seen you post until you walked in here like you know what the **** you're talking about, it's plain as day you haven't a clue. I can only assume (and hope) you were off your face when you entered into this thread and took it upon yourself to make the unintelligent decision to express your delusional thoughts because plain and simply, you've embarassed yourself and I don't believe anyone could be so stupid to show themselves off in such a manner. now kindly and I mean this in the nicest possible way, **** off. |

ok second coming, where did i say it's ok to break the law, and or do the wrong thing or condone anything of the sort?
but i do believe in innocent til proven guilty, and there'll always be jealousy amoungst trainers and jockeys, trainers have had their horse return positives that have been caused by feed contamination, vet's error and so on, should those trainers be jailed, or barred for life from the game? jockey's betting is definately wrong, second coming, what makes you correct and an expert on everything? and give us a spell with the ***stars*** on every line, does that make you feel tough and powerful? i 've got no doubt i'd turn over more in one year than you would in ten or 20, i hardly post because i'm too busy betting or simply got better things to do, than deal with know all's when i've forgotten more than most of the posters will ever know about gambling... |

Here's where , and we'll fill up laying! my jockey mates like doing that a lot more So you're a liar as well as a thief.....well done. |

ok Aker now we know your a big/huge punter and you know what most have no idea about, you have an insight into the game that many are still learning. Why you or anyone would want to state your punting habits, to all on here bewilders me and proves nothing at all. Claiming personal kudos on an anonymous chat forum is about as smart as an ashtray on a motorbike.

AKER, I will ignore your first paragraph, once you read over your posts you'll understand what you have said and know that you're just humiliating yourself.
As for the 2nd paragraph you wrote, what makes me so correct? well if you weren't such an idiot and didn't exhibit such poor integrity, maybe I wouldn't come across that way. You'd turn over more then me would you? I got no doubt you're a mug punter, that's not to say that i'm not either but I will tell you what, let's just say for the sake of the argument that you did turn over more then me, what the **** kind of importance does that hold within the current discussion? There's 2 possible ways of going about it: you turn over more then me, that means? I turn over more then you, that means? either way it doesn't mean **** all in the scheme of things, you're obviously a prepubescent 18-21 year old punk or you wouldn't care to try debate that point, that's your ego trying to come to the fore because let's be honest, in every other facet of this argument you've been sat square on your fat ass. You hardly post because you're too busy eh, too busy. Yet you decide to walk on in to this thread and post some of the most self-inflicting humiliating things I have ever read in a public forum, you bought all this onto yourself, you were probably under the effect of some sort of substance of beverage when you posted because I don't believe one person could be so stupid as I have already said but you can't sit here and look down on others just because you're "in the know", if you are in the know, that's fine.. each to their own but you can't belittle others because they're not. Once again, I urge you to **** off, in the nicest possible way, of course. |

good to see NSW trying to make an effort to clean up the sport (which i think is worse than Victoria). However it is not much use if they dont have powers to look at bank accounts, search premises, tap phones etc. They will still need police involvement to get anywhere. |

Lazza the greatest Greek of all has bin telln you blokes for how long now?...Good Post Logmans.
|

By:
Lazza was a **** though Otto, he thought even Group 1 races were fixed.....surely you don't think this too
|
|
By:
Wake up Joel... Do you honestly think Dunaden and Maluckyday were trying in the Cup.... out the back running 20's to the furlong ...Half the country were on those Horses.... Absolutely impossible for them to figure in the placings... biggest rort all year.
|
|
By:
And what is the reason they were not trying? |
|
By:
Money Joel...Money.... The game is being ruled by smarter men than us...Those two riders are the up there with best judges of speed in the business..What they did was not illegal..and there in lay the quandary.
|
|
By:
Otto it is illegal if they laid their mount on BF
But it would be hard to believe any jockey would deliberately pull a mount in a Group 1 |
|
By:
I suppose the jockey of Ethiopia had it in the sweep too
![]() |
|
By:
The overall time of a race is determined by the speed you go in the 1st half of the race... They were shootn for a 3.30 time.... lol...
The longer the race is the easier it is to count for the top Jocks...they knew how slow they were going. |
|
By:
What happened to Aker? has preseason training started at Wangaratta Rovers
|
|
By:
you really think jocks can count past 100????
|
|
By:
or even 10...

sorry boy's, it's makes me feel so special and wanted that you missed me,
and who would be silly enough to write horses weren't trying in the cup!, i wonder what the trainers are setting them for? the grand annual? |
|
By:
I woulda thought golden delicious
Nice one, Ted.I suppose the jockey of Ethiopia had it in the sweep too Thanks for the laugh, Joel ![]() |

This must be a terrible blow to you all......you deserve better imo.
On the bright side Aussie racing has still got a bit to go to rival England in the cesspit stakes. Ireland now stands alone...like a shining beacon of light against the overwhelming tide of corruption. |
|
By:
Oliver charged....I figure if he's been caught once, he's probably done it 100 times.
One year for each offence....yep 100 years sounds fair. |
|
By:
What's easier...ie You have a Horse that's ready to win..Do you put a Jock on and hope for the best..or do you put all your Jocks on the opposition Horses... and make it a real good thing?
There is a thin veil that wofts through the Racing industry... Why is it that all the good apprentices go through Gai's stable at one point or another... is she just being nice? Why don't we have accurate times taken at every meeting... We can spend 150million on a Grandfknstand but we can't have proper in race sectionals popping up every 200m? Because they don't want punters getting savvy to times... They don't want punters knowing that those Horses in that race didn't have a fkn hope. And they don't want punters thinking Why didn't the Stewards who know Racing backwards ...ask some questions... Remember ..These blokes let Munce out early ffs. You can't bet on Horses anymore... go and take some lotteries lol. |
|
By:
ollie looks like getting 6 -12 months which will be a joke..........they, the media are already drawing comparsions between him and Shinn who got about 15months for over a million in turn over 2 years. Maybe even Aker didnt turnover this much. Oliver, a muched like bloke in the game seems to be going to get off with with a minor slap on the wrist. This is the stewards chance to DRAW THE LINE IN THE SAND, and give him 2years +++, send a message to all those little monkeys that they will not tolerate it anymore
|

Read about Shinn's punting today.
