"Hodge 3 strikes apparently"
What? Explain yourself. Anyway, this GF market is bullsh!t. No way the Hawks are sub 1.50 chances, not with my enemy's money. I'll be on the Swans in a big way. |
|

Lay away gents, would appreciate some decent odds on the Hawks.

it was a joke....relax

The fools who watch one week of footy are out and about
Hawks win, how on earth can Sydney turn the tables from a game at home where they got 8 goals start with no Cyril. On the MCG Sydney completely unsuited, as much as I like them for their 'honesty', Hawks should be too good. Their bad one is out of the way |
|
By:
pressure footy wins flags....Sydney do it no better.....cramp the silky foot skills of the Hawks ...turn it over and watch the Swans go BANG!
|
|
By:
Hawks proven to be vulnerable when you pressure and shut down their kickers and swans can match them in the contested ball department and hawk defence is definitely potentially vulnerable as I have maintained throughout, it would be great to see Kennedy shove it right up them and be bset on ground and leads the swans to the flag.
|
|
By:
Wouldnt it be great if it came down to who out of Jetta or Rioli set the game alight more.
|
|
By:
I am already hedged on the result so I don't give a crap either way. Just know the Swans are good to very good value here.
Hawks should not be under 1.50. There are holes in that defense that you could drive a bus through. Not sure if Sydney can exploit it, but I will be staggered if this doesn't go down to the wire. |

Hawks Flat last week after a week off.
Morals. Only way Syd can win If Mumford Stars. Hawks by 29. Sewell Norm Smith |
|
By:
The 2 games the teams played against Each other this season was a Swans big win in Tasmania, and one of the games of the year at the SCG. Hawks best will beat Swans best for sure but I got a sneaky feeling Swans will do the job, their midfield can more than match the Hawks, and Hawks have a few injury worries to take care of before the big one. I also feel Swans forward line can really stretch the Hawks defence, Shoenmakers is a liability and got beaten fairly and squarely last week by Kurt Tippett. Swans by 10 points, Norm Smith Medal: Adam Goodes/Kieran Jack

By:
SWANS big price. Big Go.
backing swans overs also. |
|
By:
cant have a team that have won 1 of their last 15 at the G
richmond have beaten them easily there both of the last 2 yrs.....thats crazy & im a tiges fan |
|
By:
hawthorn for me
|
|
By:
Even if Sydney somehow shutdown Franklin, they have another 13 or 14 players that can kick goals, mostly left footers.
Will be close for 3 and a half quarters then Hawks will do as they did to Geelong in 2008. My money on Burgoyne for NS Medal. |
|
By:
Draw. imo.

hawks half back line is very good and will be bolstered if they play hodge running out of it... but back line is terrible with guerra out, swans may surprise with lrt's height there. Swans mid will find hawks different kettle of fish to what a tired coll. served up. Hawks for me.

Hawks clearly the best team this year. But Swans don't know that, and they are a tough team to beat. This game goes down to the wire, can't think they don't see minimum flip flp in this game. Has to be a trade out game. I have them for Premiers at around 7.50 (also had Saints, so sitting just in profit), but can't find a reason to trade out yet, have to put them in at 1.80 for now. Haven't looked at betting options, but if there is any for -6 margin, I have to be on it.

hawks sloppy against the crows, even though i hate sydney, sydney for me business wise
|
|
By:
I know the crows almost got there, but how good are your memories? almost making the finals and your forgetting all the years
they absolutley couldn't win a game let a lone the finals, all form taken into account hawks should of won by clearer margin, I just can'/t forget how bad the crows were years back, |
|

Im on the swannies--1-19

My ONLY concern about the Hawks.
They did not handle the pressure last week. Now whether it was to do with making the GF and now that they are there they can just go out and do the business i dont know. I do know if they stutter like they did last week against the Crows then they will get punished by the Swans' NO FUSS just get the job done approach. I'm going to put mine on the Hawks to cover - I can see them doing what Collingwood did in the second GF against the Saints after not coping too well the first time around. |
