Swans haven't beaten the Pies since 2005 - we're a better side this year but...

Womble, pies are very vulnerable for mine.

Swans 1.20 iyo Lets?

Swanny out is going to hurt my Dream Team. Hopefully the Swans can inflict a loss on them this weekend to make up for it.

Wow massive outs for Geelong they've almost reached the same tipping point with injuuries that the Eagles did several times recently, the pendulum has swung back in the Eagles favour, they can win now if they come with the right intensity.
After last weeks performance I have no doubt they will be really fired up for mine, I can now go to the game tonight and barrack with a bit of confidence and I was going to launch on Geelong earlier in the week and am almost prepared to back the Eagles now. |
|
By:
i was at that game backhigh, carmen was HYPER that day running around from backline to forward line to backline like some unstoppable machine. We were going somewhere with him in the team... Barry Davis must have had kittens when he headbutted carbery. If he didn't get so stirred up collingwood would have another flag imo.

I remember him being interviewed on the radio, a few years back.
In his day, footballers trained twice a week, but he trained twice a day, every day. He said, it was his fitness, that made him a great player. |

LE,
Got a sneaking suspicion the Cats will still win, although the last time they beat the Hawks in a bruiser they lost to the Roos the next week. I am worried about your Eagles. Tonight's a big night for the footy club. They don't show up here and win and they might as well pack it in. |
|
By:
I thought they already had?

Joel, stop teasing LE.....come and sit down in the front row where I can keep my eye on you

Snake I've been told today they will be turning up big time tonight they were embarrassed big time by their performance last week and that win, lose or draw the intensity will be thrre tonight, if that's the case they should win and can steady the sinking ship and regain some momentum over the next few weeks.
|
|
By:
Who told you? And shouldn't they be 'turning up big time' every week? This is a professional sport after all.
|
|
By:
Joel they didn't turn up last week at all I expected them to get beaten but to go down without any semblance of a fight was disgraceful and I'm not telling you my contacts.
|
|
By:
Why not?
|

By:
I was told today the club is aware they are front runners

Tough game for the Eagles to try and find some form. Outs for the cats make things interesting, but I think this is still coin flip at worst. Geelong at 2.20 plus has to be the value here.
Saints, have to be as close to certainties as you can get here. Much more attacking team, they will tighten the Demons up, and run off them all day. -54.5 @ 2.05. I would expect something more like a scoreline of 140 -65. Fremantle seem to be that team that trains all year for their derbys. I think they will be bought back to reality this week. One thing finding form, but to consistantly only really do it in your big ones, suggests that this isn't a form reversal and will see them starting very flat. Think Adelaide get the jump, and apart from a few spurts, will hold them comfortably. Probably go the line here - 21.5 @2.10 Gold Coast were travelling very well for a few weeks, and then got shot down. Younger team, and very inconsistant. Obviously coming up against GWS, but this is the game GWS will have been targetting. Confidence from last week will help them, and GC been up too long and have been targetting bigger fish. Happy to have a go at GWS this week tbh. Straight up. Sydney, the real deal. Collingwood will be watching Swan getting possessions all day, and it will result in a 25+ point win for Sydney. -15.5 @ 2.00 looks pretty good to me. Carlton should get the job done here, but this game doesn't really interest me in betting terms so steering clear. Line at about 30 points seems about right. Hawks demo job coming up, but no big opinion there, it is the only obvious scenario. Thinking a scoreline something like 165-55, so happy to take the line at -82.5 @ 2.10 Not touching Richmond that short, and don't like Bulldogs. Nothing game for me. Tigers should win, thinking ~35 points, but not touching it. Expecting Essendon to have a real go here and thinking this is the close one. Could easily come down to the last minute, so have to take them here. Will just go straight up at the 2.20. Obviously I quote the Unitab odds when I post here, but do do some shopping around for the best price at those areas. |

WCE 58-65 Geelong
big liquidity for a Friday night game, Betfair Matched: AUD 506,892 |
|
By:
WCE should have the run to get this done. But Geelong putting up a big fight. Eagles have to win this by 15+ or they are shot ducks for this year I think.
|
|
By:
Eagles won the game, but they're no good.
|

Just finished watching the game, Eagles did enough just to win. Dont think they can win the premiership this year, but a prelim finals is a minimum target for them. They need to aim for top 4 spot, Draw of Port ADelaide, Collingwood (Home), Hawks (Away)
Think if WCE win 1 of those 3 games, they can get 5th-6th spot (Home Final) If WCE win 2 of those 3 games, they can get a top 4 spot (3rd or 4th) If WCE win 3 of those 3 games, they can get a top 2 spot Key game will be the Pies match for me, Pies will get back Dane Swan for that match but I think that will be a 50 50 game at home |
