yeah, thought that too, but the other one towed it's rider up to nearly draw level and he
decides to turn 45 degrees for no reason? Did he lose an iron? ![]() |

Anytime a horse challenges BB he just pulls out a bit more so Andrew wanted to challenge wide of him but Ruby clocked this and pulled BB left at the final hurdle thats why Andrew then switched right to keep away from him.
Andrew actually gave her a brilliantly tactical ride she never knew she was in a race until the second last. |

Fair enough, TF. You know the beasts, I don't. Was only dumbfounded by his actions near the
finish. The 1.80 seemed generous in hindsight when they mentioned it was his 16th consecutive win???!!! ![]() Mind you, if his opponents continue to feel the need to pull a circus/ rodeo stunt when they travel up to him (on the bit), he has them bluffed and may win 50 straight. imo ![]() |

I can understand why you would think that Spoon if it is the first time you saw him.
![]() But you have understand that the horse is a freak, every year he goes to the last looking beat and as soon as a horse arrives upsides him he comes back onto the bridle and starts laughing at them. That fact that the mare only went 1.90 will tell you a lot about BB. At least it shows that Jockeys are trying to figure out how to beat him. |

Actually i think Andrew Lynch might have a decent chance of winning the first with HISAABAAT
although the Triumph is always a tricky race to get right. Might be a job for your 'lucky pin'.... ![]() |

Nice of you finally wake up Spoon.
That was Kautos last race.. ![]() Going ok today backed two 20-1 shots e/w second and third. Next race is a nightmare and i go with 13. Get to have a laugh at the amateurs at least! ![]() |

Good stuff, amazing contrast to what we call jumps racing here. The "fox-hunters" race
![]() Not even sure they'd let you name it that here ![]() |

Once again, ignorant.... the trainer interviewed last night... Sir somebody
had the "happiest" looking horses I've ever seen (as a group). Trains from the Isle of Man? Looked like horse heaven. He, himself, also looked like he could hardly contain a smile at all times... maybe it's contagious ![]() |

Ignorance is bliss Spoon...
![]() The Sir somebody you're referring to to is Sir Robert Ogdon,a self made billionaire. He is not a trainer btw just an owner albeit a very good one who as you saw buys foals rears them until racing age which for a NH horse is four and then sends them to different trainers. I think that piece of filming showed his pre-training base in the Isle of Man and the one in West Cork. Quite impressive aren't they? a horse couldn't wish for a better start in life. An absolute Gent by all accounts. |
