Can someone point out any value with this lot please?

The Midnight Club - Not experienced enough, 8-1 shocking value
Backstage - running in PTPs, bit of a step into the unknown and cant have it at 12-1
WAF - bit too quirky and value has sailed
SBN - looks like it needs heavy, and what did it really beat at Haydock anyway?
Oscar Time - if you're backing this one then you should be backing Arbor Supreme
Niche Market - tried and failed last year and rejected by Walsh
BFT - hasnt seen it out the last twice
DPI - top weight, can't see it winning again (although best so far)
Quinz - 7 year old (6 in reality)

The only one I could have out of those at the top of the market is Balabriggs, and he hasn't had any experience over the fences.

Completely agree-  the value lies with the 25 - 50/1 shots IMHO

decent post fella. I agree generally.

But if you only fancied say 8 or 9 in the race then I would argue that 12s or 14s is an ok price.

my logic may be fuzzy of course. [smiley:crazy]

Couldn't back any of them at the current prices. On BFT @ 27 on here though. Midnight club can't help but look at the price of arbor supreme and think it's purely the ruby factor.

good post, which points out one thing, youve missed the boat. no point backin a horse at 10/1 on the day, why not back him 33/1 a couple f months before
