Start Bank £1,000 Current Bank £1,543 (+54%) Hello again and thanks for your visit today. My Header today is 'Smashing Through Barriers!' and I am very pleased to report that my bank has just smashed through the 50% barrier. Hooray! I have now passed Step 8 of my 142 Step plan on my mathematical journey to £1Million. This represents 5.63% of my journey completed. This week my 5% Win Target is £77 which will see me finish the week at £1,620 (+62%), which is further growth of 8% in just one week. Growth like this makes the Halifax AER of 2% look a bit sick don't you think? So why don't more people make money from Sports Betting instead of sticking it in a Building Society? Well because in order to succeed you need to have a sound financial management system and to see the world...

This Week so far + £15.45 Hi, well I made virtually nothing from my trade last night - just a couple of quid! Usually you get a bigger movement in the odds for the Draw when a goal is scored but all I could make out of it was a lousy £2. Hardly worth the £60 risk! That's why I'm not 'keen' on trading - you have to 'sweat' to get your result and sometimes the risk to gain ratio is pitiful.Still it was a good match to watch though. Today I am going for an old fashioned no frills Win Double pure and simple ARSENAL and MAN CITY to Win their respective matches. I got 1.15 & 1.66 Double odds and my stake of £14 will net me +£12.88 if successful. ARSENAL must surely do the business tonight mustn't they? MAN CITY will have a tougher time against ASTON VILLA though...

Hi, Nothin' doin' on the horse racing front for me today, although I'm pretty sure I'll have a couple of winning bets tomorrow. So I'm going to have an interest in the CHELSEA v MAN UTD match tonight. Yesterday, I mentioned that I do 'Trade' occasionally and tonight is one of those occasions. I am hopeful of a goal being scored so I have Layed the Draw for a stake of £25 at 3.4, giving me a Liability of £60, which is 5% of the bank. I will then Back the Draw to close my liability when a goal is scored to lock in a profit. That's the theory anyway. If it's a 'Bore Draw' I will close my liability in the 76th minute and have to take a 'Hit' so I am hoping for a goal to be scored by then! Only two Buds left in the fridge, better get some more in. I bow to the greater knowledge of others in many respects as I happily acknowledge their expertise. I just spotted on the Blog of ZEROHYPE his advice about a Trade on the STOKE v WEST BROM match tonight, kick-off at 8pm. I do 'Trade' myself when the fancy takes me and I have the time, but I prefer to just put a bet on and have done with it if I can. So I have noted the advice of ZEROHYPE and used a slightly different betting strategy in the hope that the match does indeed finish in a Win for STOKE or a DRAW. I have staked £24 on STOKE to Win at 1.94 and £9.50 on the DRAW at 3.55. If STOKE win I make a net + £13 and if its a DRAW I break even. If West Brom win I lose £33.50. Oh well in for a penny in for £33.50!

Hi, I managed to break even yesterday due to my 'saver' bets on the WALSALL v ROCHDALE match where I backed the WIN and the DRAW. Last week I mentioned that Bet 365 have a very generous policy of returning all losing correct score bets when a match finishes 0-0 and true to their word they refunded my £15 stake on the Millwall v Nottm Forest 0-0 'Bore Draw. So it's worth opening up an account with them even if you only use it for correct score football bets. Today I have gone for the 'Blindingly Obvious?' and backed ARSENAL, MAN CITY and RANGERS to win their matches. I am still looking to apply a bit of leverage on my bets, so I put them all in a £25 win Treble which would return £67 if it comes in. I put the question mark there because we all know about 'shock results'...

Hi, a bit late getting my message on today but still in time to share some bets with you. I have mentioned correct score football bets as an excellent way to leverage your returns and I have already had some good results this week and I am hoping for some more today. I have backed NEWCASTLE to win against Bolton, MILLWALL to win against Nottingham Forest and TRANMERE to win against Yeovil, all at 1-0, 2-0, 2-1. My stakes were £5 on each for a total of £45. The odds on these range from 6/1 to 10/1 so if I get just two out of three I will make a good profit. The RacingPost on Friday provides all the stats you need to find good propsects for these bets as it shows the scores for these matches in previous seasons, which is no guarantee for success of course but...

Hi, an excellent result yesterday with ARSENAL winning 1-0 on my correct score bet. I have something to share with you today. I don't believe in keeping all my eggs in one basket and I naturally have several bookmaker accounts and I think you should know about BET365 regarding correct score Football Betting if you don't know already. Don't get me wrong I love my Betfair account as you definitely get better odds, however I also had some correct score bets on MAN UTD to beat MARSEILLE yesterday on my Bet365 account. Here's the thing, '365' have a 'Bore Draw' policy where they actually refund all losing correct score bets if the result is 0-0! I had covered a 1-1 Draw and Man Utd to win 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 plus a covering bet on MARSEILLE to Win, so I had virtually ...

Hi, Today I am going for enhanced returns on my bet on Arsenal to win their match against Stoke this evening. Arsenal are very short at roughly 1/3 but I have staked £60 on them in the hope that they can justify the odds. Plus I have staked £5 on the following correct scores: 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1. If I don't get a correct score but Arsenal win I'll break even. If I do get a correct score then obviously that'll enhance my returns. I got 7.4, 6.8, 10.5, & 15.0 respectively. The other day I had a very nice return on Ajax winning 1-0 at odds of 15/1 so it is very nice when you get one of the bigger odds results coming in and I'll be hoping for that 3-1 result tonight. Worst case scenario it's a Draw or Stoke win for an £80 loss! Fingers crossed. Bye for now.

Bank Start £1,000 Current Bank £1129.95 Well I was 2 minutes away from a really good profit when Leyton Orient scored in the 88th minute! Bang went the Double and the correct score. Still I managed to bag a profit of +£72.50 for the AJAX 1-0 result (£5@15.5), so all was not lost. My other disappointments last week included FULHAM v CHELSEA, WALKON - unplaced, MEGASTAR - unplaced, and a couple of losing 50/50 bets, so my priority this week is to recover the net £73.69 I lost due to those results. As I mentioned yesterday, correct score Football bets are a great way to get some leveraged returns and I'll be making these a regular feature of my campaign. One of my favourite bets is to find three teams for reasonable Home win prospects and then back them ...

Hi, Only one winner out of my three 50/50 bets as I call them with RIVERSIDE THEATRE providing the win. I also had a win on the Football but made a small net loss on the day. However, this week has been a week of 'small losses' and of course they all add up so I have applied some leverage to my bets today in the hope of finishing the week on a high. I have backed MAN CITY to win their match against Notts County 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 and also ARSENAL to win their match 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 and in Holland AJAX to win their match 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, plus a double on ARSENAL and AJAX to win. I staked £5 on each of the correct score bets and £25 on the Double. If I get a couple of those correct score bets coming in it will make a big difference to my results for the week...
