Hello again, I am sharing my Saturday bets with you today. My Header is 'Covering the shock result' you know, - the one which nobody expects and we all lose as a result! Last night for example I backed [b]AC MILAN[/b] to win against LAZIO but just in case I put a covering stake on the Draw and sure enough the result was 2-2. I didn't win anything but my Draw bet recovered my losing win stake so no harm done. Today I have backed [b]MAN UTD[/b] to win v BOLTON for £100 and covered the Draw with a stake of £25.70 @ 4.9. And I have backed [b]RANGERS[/b] to win v DUNDEE UTD with £100 and covered the Draw with £32 @ 4.1. And I have backed [b]ARSENAL[/b] to win with £100 and covered the Draw with £22 @ 5.5. OK I don't win as much by covering the Draw but at least I don't have to suffer...

Progress has been slow with my recent wins just maintaining a slender lead over my losses, you know the score one step forwards then two steps backwards! Then you have to recover what you just lost. A good strategy for winning with Football bets is to back a team to Win and then cover the Draw. For example yesterday, knowing that [b]BOLTON[/b] are no mugs and would give [b]MAN CITY[/b] a tough game I staked 2.5% £112.50 on [b]MAN CITY[/b] to Win at 1.82 (4/5) and then covered that with a bet on the Draw for £40 at 3.8 and this gave me a net profit of £52 on the result. If the match was a Draw I would have broke even, which is better than losing! You can only do this when the odds allow it. ...

Had to back [b]KAUTO STAR[/b] in the [b]5.30 at PUNCHESTOWNS[/b] and if Kauto doesn't win I'll be looking to recover my stake and make a profit on [b]WAAHEB[/b] in the [b]6.05[/b], so my bet is effectively a two leg Stop At A Winner bet. Well despite some good results last week I had to recover from a 6% Losing day so it was an uphill struggle again. Last Monday I was at £1371.84 so I just managed to shade it over the week. My weekly 'Target' is 5% growth which is £69 for this week and that would see me finish the week at £1,454 (+45%).
