    21st May Dutch of The Day Round Up!

    Hey what a great couple of days we're having, and today's race was ours all the way with our A & B horse finishing respectively 1st and 2nd. 

    If you did a forecast on this I'm a little jealous if truth be told, as I've been busy as hell and only managed to place the dutch, but no complaints as there is my profit for the day sorted!

    hi, when you mentioned about doing a forecast on the race what does this mean and how would it be done?

    Hi BruceWillis, you need to do this with a bookmaker. You add your three selections and select reverse combination forecast in the bet slip. This will place a bet where if any two of the three finish 1st or 2nd you get a very decent return. Or you could just do two horses for example. A forecast bet is where you predict the exact 1st and 2nd, which obviously pays out a fair bit more as it's a difficult to predict. I personally think, take each dutch as it comes. Some will be good to back the B&C's E/W and the A odds on for a win, some will be better as a dutch bet, but for low stakes combination bets can pay decent returns in the long term if done sensibly on good dutching opportunity bets. For example so far with the DOTD we've had four 1st and 2nd place races. Couldn't say for certain if it's profitable doing it every race, I'll crunch some stats on this in June and let you know pal.
