Tempel was today's star turn and flew up 10 places from the pit into 19th with an Italian 10/1 winning nap Cool,

NB was hoof hearted who held station in 18th with a lotto 13/8 success.

Elsewhere Wonder Boy moved up into 4th with an 11/8 winner,

Mugatpura remained steady in 17th with a 13/8 result,

Gen. Maxim improved into 2nd but Lt. Pigeon remained static in 23rd, both with 6/5 chances and

jimnast gained 4 places to abut the podium with an even-money nap while,

Bill Watson, Sir Rembrandt and Broadway all landed odds-on shots.

Mitchell just missed out by the smallest of margins with a double-figured attempt. Desperately UL there.
