My mate Mugsy knows how to play a hand: when danger lurks, sit on your hands and let others make mistakes. Worked a charm today, so he's back on top. But for how long? Ding dong!

Top man today was Herschel, who climbs to seventh with a 5/2.

Catalina wakes from a long slumber to edge nearer the light with a 2/1,

while Darley Abbey zooms up to eighth with a 9/4.

Caro Kann slips up to fifth with a 6/4, where he joins his mate Bill. Are they joined at the hip or what? The same last-race 5/4 lifts general custer to ninth and sing when ur winning to 16th, and a shortie even nudges Shaboombaby up to 19th.
