Maybe it's a bit early for our leader to start feeling jittery, but the gap is narrowing significantly. Second-placed fenderswoop lands Infraad at 100/30 to reduce the deficit to less that £7. That's not such a huge amount with just over a week to go. The same runner also lifts Herschel to 21st.  Top man, though, was Mitchell, piling into Pilu at 4/1 to vault up to 12th.  Elsewhere, Darley Abbey jumps to 6th with an 11/4,  Hyakutake in 22nd picks up a 9/4, Encke skips to 16th on a 15/8, Roland barges into fourth with a 13/8, and Major Ballsup gets a 6/5 but tumbles to 23rd.
