stocks is doing his level best to rein in our leader, helping his cause no end today with Samra Star at 4/1.  Trouble is, said leader, Billposter, is still on a charge and halved the damage by landing a 2/1.  So the gap old stocky has to overcome is still more than £12. Long way to go though.Other than that, it was the usual shortie show, with somewhat uncharacteristically big effects: Darley Abbey charging into fifth, Caro Kann following him into sixth with a fourth on the bounce, Even Steven clambering up to eighth, and adamanty racing up four to 12th (with a 1/2!).
