For buses, read horses. Suddenly two 18/1 winners arrive on the bounce. After yesterday's grand effort by the man of all hands and elbows, Roland flies up to fourth with Wise Crack at the same humdinging 18/1.

Soopahdoopah! Juist a thought: aren't they supposed to come in threes?

Elsewhere, Grunfeld climbs to 15th with Miss Moneypit at 9/4,

while Bill Watson holds on to 14th with an 11/8.

Then there's the shorties, like adamanty's that flicks him up to eighth, and then again the shorties so short they're practically microscopic: 10p returns that leave Broadway down to sixth and Lieutenant Pigeon down to seventh, and a whole 2p return that leaves Sergeant Attarms clinging on to third. You might laugh, but it's a lot better than losing a squidly on the day!
