Interesting name, fenderswoop. He certainly lived up to it with his late selection Stiletto, which earned him a whopping 11/1 and allowed him to swoop up to second.

Now all he's got to do is, er, fend off everyone else.

Northern Express at a handsome 7/1 lifted jimnast to eighth and Bill Watson to ninth,

while adamanty moves into third with Miss Maverick at a plump 13/2.

Mugatpura keeps himself well in the fight with Valedictory at 7/2.

stocks climbs to 12th with an 85/40, Catalina hits 15th with a 15/8, Theresa Croude slips out of the places to sixth despuite a 13/8 and Broadway is slapped down to fifth despite an 11/10.

In other news, Major Ballsup eases slightly nearer the mid-point with a shortie.
