What a finale. Heading into the final day, we had a wizened leader sitting comfortable, composed, seemingly home and dry. Then along comes jimnast on D-Day to land a 5/2 winner and hop up a couple of places to grab the title. Final bank £8.56, strike rate of 36.4% from 22 selections - the highest of the month if you ignore a very occasional poster in the also-ran department. A 6/1 in week two added ballast to his campaign but it was relentless consistency that was the real deal. CoolCoolCool (and Cool for today)

swift-tuttle will rue his last-gasp miss, sliding from first to second. But £7.60 is a fine month's work, built on the audacity of back-to-back 11/1 winners on the eighth and ninth. Two thunderbolts in 24 hours - the kind of sequence that defines a campaign. A 20% strike rate looks modest beside jimmo's, but when you're landing 11/1 shots, you don't need to win often. CoolCool

barstool takes bronze with a £7.45 bank - separated from swifty by just 15p! His month had its own defining moment: an 18/1 bazooka on the 10th, the biggest-priced winner in the division all month. That one shot almost carried the whole campaign. Cool

halcyon days goes up in fourth with a 31% strike rate that would have yielded a far healthier bank had the prices been kinder. Seven winners, no big-priced moments, but a model of steady application, as reflected by today's odds-on, the only other score of the day. GrinHappy

And imlac - our esteemed settler promoted with a balance of precisely £0. Not a penny either way after a full month's work. Four winners including a 13/2 and 15/2 on consecutive days in mid-month that briefly promised something bigger. It wasn't to be, but a break-even month and promotion is an outcome plenty of others would take. Happy
But we do also have to mention Shoemaker, languishing in eighth desite a dazzling 60% strike rate - the best in the division by a country mile. The catch? Only five selections all month. With that kind of accuracy, one can only wonder what the final bank might have looked like had he turned up more often! Cry

Thanks to everyone for giving it a go - ya gotta be in it etc. Can't have a race without runners. I hope you can all rejoin us for April. Excited

would you believe it!? I've been tearing my hair out for almost an hour trying to work out why I cant post my comments. Rogue characters? Non ASCII chars? What?

Turns out it's because I used ther phrase 'to sn*tch the title'. Apparently as soon as you use that word it decides you are a DOM and blocks it. Doesnt even tell you! What a childish, nay infantile forum this is. AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

Thanks reged for all the effort you put in ,incredible some of the words you can’t use on here even the name of the four times Ascot gold winner from earlier this century is banned,

Well done to those promoted it’s far from easy tipping a horse every day.
