Rules point:
Hexham was abandoned today. This from the BHA website:-

Updated - March 12th 2026, 9:59:01 am

ABANDONED - Gales (Day of Racing)

Any post for Hexham with a time before 9:59 is settled as abandoned. (e.g. Fortismere's post was timed at 09:49)
Similarly with non-runners - if the time of NR declaration is after the time of the post, they are settled as non-runners. (4 of them today).
Even if the time of post is later, it is not automatic in my opinion for the settlement to be Invalid Selection (-1).

And in answer to majorupshotbagley's question
Yes it is allowable to make another selection because of an abandonment or a NR. Normal rules apply to the re-selection.
