I like Myal at Haydock. Such a game horse who doesn't know when he's beat. He deserves to win in this grade but he needs it on the soft side. Looking at the time of the 2.30, there looks to be enough juice in the going for him. Ten bob Tony and the fav will be tough to beat though
By:
Go for it Whippin
By:
Whippin, had a look at Myal’s form I might back it myself looks promising
By:
If he's in there with a chance going into the last 1/2F I'll be disappointed if he doesn't get the job done, Tangle
Well done Penzance a few more EW points for the team |
By:
Another game effort from Myal. Probably ran a career best there but just ran into one that will be going close in G1's this season!
By:
Very unlucky Busy. Your selection rearing up in the stalls cost him the win. So yet another second for the team which was the story of the round for us.

I’ve gone for Next Twist – 2:33 Perth
10 point Win It won @ 4/11fav LTO & this is it’s chase debut. Not another of one my systems? |

ISABELLA ISLAND
18:00 NEWTON ABBOT WIN |

By:
I'm putting up Albert Einstein in the 3:10 at Newbury. A bit short, but it's a weak race, and I can't see anything beating him. Fingers crossed.
By:
Good luck FP. I'm going to take a swing at one in the Lockage Stakes. I thought Jonquil was quite impressive beating the useful yardstick Holloway Boy (who I backed) LTO. His record in this country at the 1 Mile trip reads 11 and I think there's more to come from him at this trip this season. The stable are in red hot form, he has course form and he enjoys fast going. At a double figure price I have to play.
By:
Hi Whippin,I see Tex is out again in 5.10 Newmarket, liked Kalpana thought a bit short to put up,most prob will put up Moonhall Lass 8.15 Doncaster realised it is also a bit short.
Others Castan 3.37 Thirsk e/w,Rajapour 4.12 Thirsk. Watch out for Paulbady doubt if he will post,gl |
By:
Yes, he's been well found in the market today, Tangle. I noticed you had 2 winners and 2nd from your 3 suggestions last week. I'll ask you for one if Pauly is a no show again. Yeah, I looked at her too and I think Lost Boys has a huge chance today although the price is tight enough
By:
The 4.20 Newbury looks a cracking betting race. There's a couple in there at double figure prices that I'll be playing
By:
2.45 banger dantes inferno. which is where i belong
By:
Jonquil's half sister just won very nicely yon her debut at Newmarket. Tons to come from her!
By:
Jonquil a huge drifter before the off and ran accordingly
By:
Whippin will put up Castan 3.37 Thirsk e /w for Paulybad if not post by 2.55
By:
Assuming no show from paulybad, I'll take him off the team sheet and you can play wildcards as and when.
By:
Thanks Tangle. OK UD that's fine
By:
Yours is noner now Tangle. But Typeface looks solid in the context of this field of AW horses. Can we avoid nul points for this round? Of course, with hindsight I should have put my best bet of the day up in the comp!
By:
Whippin,Typeface from that draw was never going to win, anyway we can only go upwards from here

By:
Lion of Mali – 3:30 Haydock
10point win Would have won easier LTO if it had found an opening sooner. But what do I know ![]() |
By:
Nogo’s Dream 5.27 Goodwood
Going for a longer priced horse,a pity that it was 18/ and now 12/1 |
By:
I'm going to put up handicap debutant Princling in the 2:20 at Haydock. I think this one could be quite good. On another note, unless the Racing Post revert thier website to normal, I am seriously giving the game up. I will, however, honour this competition to its conclusion. Fingers crossed.
By:
FatPunt, yes the Racing Post have thrown a spanner in the works and the site is now more difficult to navigate and they have highlighted useless info and put all the relevant info in small print ,gl with your selection.

I'm in the same boat as FP in that I'm not able to study the form on the 'improved' RP to the level required for me to be confident in placing bets. I can only use my notebook horses and watching replays to guide me. So I'll put Coppull up seeing as I believe he won with a fair bit in hand LTO even though the winning margin was short. Division was slow away that day so will be a big danger if getting away on terms. We probably need something at a double figure price so let's try and land one with the Wildcard. Stick your best outsiders up lads and I'll pick one out of your shortlist
By:
Hi Whippin my second choice for the day is Coppull,Liked Yes I Am Mali 13.30 York, ran second.
Will look for a long priced horse ![]() |
By:
Will the meeting be called off? I doubt it but I guess there will be a lengthy delay at Haydock
By:
3.55 cart puddlesinthepark 10 points
By:
Haydock under inspection, most probably will be cancelled
Like Dovey Moon 6.15 Salisbury only 15/2 at moment,so not really a long priced. |
By:
I thought St Hilda at Goodwood now she's being switched to the turf. Too short for the wildcard though
By:
There looks to be tons of pace on in the 4.20 at Goodwood so the race should set up nicely for course winner Dancingwithmyself. She probably needs to drop a few pounds but I can see her going close
By:
Whipping Undecided says u can replace 2.20 Haydock, think FatPunt had one up for 2.20
By:
Go to put up Dovey Moon 6.15 for wildcard
By:
OK mate. Although I think another team has put that one up.
By:
UD has allowed another hour. So I'll take another look but I'll go with Dancingwithmyself if I can't find one at a bigger price
By:
Oh and now Coppull is a noner! FFS!
