It's always tricky to determine if the poster is just trying to avoid a loss with a 'free hit'
Another factor I've seen over the years, especially at this time of the year, is a poster choosing a selection the evening before, when it is well known the meeting has only a 0-10% chance of going ahead. Tough for settlers to decide. Rather you than me. |

We generally err on the side of good faith. In other words, we don't expect napsters to be 24/7 vigilant about NR declarations or abandonments.
Taking it to it's logical conclusion, if someone did this in bad faith every day of the month, they would finish on zero and wouldn't be winning anything. On the other hand, they wouldn't get relegated either, so some monitoring is needed. Which is why I put gut feeling in the factors. |

Well how about having a restriction of only 1 odds on shot in every 5 selections to stop the farce that is succesive odds on shots to stop losing the daily point? And I say this because its those that do this are the ones likely to want to use your NR fiddle!!!

Some sad clowns pick every odds on shot they see (no imagination clowns), some are devious clowns (spend their time looking for potential non runners
and some clowns don't care just enjoy LOOKING for real winners and don't care what the other clowns do. |

Talk about the hard job settlers do, no wonder if this topic is even a consideration.
