He's been toiling long and hard, but now he's made it. DeSSieReborn is our fantastic last champion of the year with a terrific final bank of nearly £46. That came courtesy of three great scores, not least the humungous 50/1 mid-month, followed by a 6/1 and 11/1. He likes 'em big does our Dess. Great achievement!  Second is Bumpertojumper, who's been a bit quiet of late but did more than enough in the first half of the month, including a basherooni 25/1, topped up in the second by a solitary 6/1 for a very plump kitty of £23. Superbulous. Sadly, we go slightly into the red after that, starting with one of my favourite napsters tictacman1 in third. Always good to see him have a shot upstairs, largely propelled in this case by an early doors 20/1. In fourth it's great to see comp stalwart and man of numbers undecided make it up again after landing a 14/1 in the first week.  And in fifth is Treesome, who just sneaked in with the final day's only winner, an evens.  It has been a low-scoring month, exemplified by the fact that the honour of the highest strike rate lies with Kirriemuir in seventh of just under 37%. The majority favoured chasing the big numbers, it seems. Best of luck to the promotees, hard luck everyone else but many thanks for your engagement, which is what makes it a competition after all.
